Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire is a 1996 multimedia project created by Lucasfilm. Star Wars comics have been produced by various comic book publishers since the debut of the 1977 film Star Wars. Anina Bennett is an American writer and comic book editor and producer. Some of the famous works she has been part of are the Boilerplate robot hoax/comic or various Dark Horse Comics she has produced. Anina Bennett is part of the husband-and-wife team with Paul Guinan who have been collaborating in print since 1989. Bennett and Guinan created Heartbreakers that same year. This series was groundbreaking as it was one of the first to feature clones and a group of female comic book heroes. She is currently working with Guinan on a historical graphic novel, Aztec Empire.
Star Wars is a Star Wars comic book series published by Dark Horse Comics between 2013 and 2014. The series was written by Brian Wood, and follows the main characters of the original Star Wars trilogy soon after the events of the original film. It ended after a 20-issue run, largely due to the Star Wars comics license being transferred to Marvel as part of Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm.
Davidé Fabbri is an Italian comic book artist. He has worked mainly for Dark Horse Comics on various Star Wars series. Also worked for Dynamite and recently for DC Comics. In 2010, he worked on Victorian Undead, written by Ian Edginton for Wildstorm. This series pitted Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson against a legion of undead zombies. It was nominated for a Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards in 2010.
