Iroquois Theater is a historic theater in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. [1] It hosted African American jazz performers in the early 20th century. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.It is a two-story building with brickwork on the upper story. [2]

It opened in 1912. Various jazz performers took its stage. [3] Its National Register listing notes it as alongside alongside the Little Gem Saloon, the Karnofsky building, and Eagle Saloon. [3] It was in the "Back of Town" neighborhood. [4]

The larger Lyric Theater succeeded it from 1919 to 1927. [5] It no longer exists. [6]
