Satya N. Atluri ICCES Medal is a Medal awarded annually by ICCES and Tech Science Press to an individual who has had a significant impact on the world of engineering, the sciences, and commerce, and the well-being of the society at large as a result. This Medal is presented at the Awards Banquet of the annual ICCES Conference. The recipient of the Medal is invited to deliver a Plenary Lecture, on a topic of her/his choosing, at the ICCES conference. This Medal honors Professor Satya N. Ken P. Chong is a Research Professor at The George Washington University and a former associate at the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST). He was the Engineering Advisor, Interim Division Director and program director of Mechanics and Materials at various times for 21 years at the U.S. National Science Foundation. He is the President of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy and founding editor of the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy. Before joining Lewis & Clark, Hochstettler served as Founding Vice President for Academic Affairs at International University Bremen, now Constructor University in Bremen, Germany. He has held academic appointments and administrative positions at Stanford University, Bowdoin College, and Rice University.
