Isabel Cool (born 17 September 1985) is a Belgian equestrian athlete. [1] She competed at the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games and at the European Dressage Championships in 2019. [2]

International Federation for Equestrian Sports

The International Federation for Equestrian Sports is the international governing body of equestrian sports.

The FEI World Equestrian Games are the major international championships for equestrianism, and are administered by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI). The games have been held every four years, halfway between sets of consecutive Summer Olympic Games, since 1990. Prior to that year, all ten of the FEI's individual disciplines held separate championships, usually in separate countries. The modern WEG runs over two weeks and, like the Olympics, the location rotates to different parts of the world. Riders and horses competing at WEG go through a rigorous selection process, and each participating country sends teams that have distinguished themselves through competition as the nation's best in each respective discipline. At the 2010 Games, 57 countries were represented by 800 people and their horses.

Equestrian vaulting

Equestrian vaulting, or simply vaulting, is most often described as gymnastics and dance on horseback, which can be practiced both competitively or non-competitively. Vaulting has a history as an equestrian act at circuses, but its origins stretch back at least two-thousand years. It is open to both men and women and is one of ten equestrian disciplines recognized by the International Federation for Equestrian Sports. Therapeutic or interactive vaulting is also used as an activity for children and adults who may have balance, attention, gross motor skill or social deficits.

Equestrian competitions at the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics were held from 9 August to 21 August at the Hong Kong Sports Institute and Sheung Yue River in Hong Kong. It was the second time that the equestrian events were hosted by a member of the IOC other than the member hosting the main games. Unlike 1956, however, the equestrian events were part of the main games, and were held within the same period.

Equestrian at the 2016 Summer Paralympics

Equestrian at the 2016 Summer Paralympics consists of 11 dressage events, ten for individual riders across five classes, and a single mixed team, mixed category event. The competitions were held in the Olympic Equestrian Centre in Rio, in September 2016.

Equestrian competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru were held from July 27 to August 10. The venue for the competition is the Equestrian Club Militar La Molina. A total of 150 athletes are scheduled to compete in the three disciplines of dressage, eventing and jumping, each with an individual and team event.

Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu is a Canadian equestrian athlete. She competed at the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games and qualified with the Canadian team for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. In 2015 she won team and individual silver at the Pan American Games in Toronto.

Maria Florencia Manfredi is an Argentine equestrian athlete. She competed at the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games and was the first rider who represent Argentina during a World Cup Final in Dressage. She competed also at the South American Games in Medellin 2010 and Quillota 2014, where she won team silver. In 2015 she competed at the 2015 Pan American Games.

Evgenija Davydova is a Russian equestrian athlete. She competed at the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games and at the European Dressage Championships in 2019 with her horse Awakening. She is based in Italy where she trains with Russian\Italian dressage rider Tatiana Miloserdova.

Cathrine Rasmussen is a Norwegian equestrian athlete and trainer and a businesswomen. She competed at the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games and at the 2011 FEI European Championships in Rotterdam and at the 2013 European Dressage Championship in Herning.
