It Looks Sad. is an American emo band from Charlotte, North Carolina. The band has released two EPs and a full length LP. Their first self-titled EP was released in 2014. [1] [2] [3] [4] In 2015, the band released two new songs, "Creature" and "Nagoya" both part of their 2015 EP, Kaiju. [5] Sky Lake, the band's first studio album, was released in 2018. [6] In March 2020, It Looks Sad. put out a four-track EP, Songs for Quarantine. [7]
It Looks Sad. was originally formed as "It Looks Sad, That's Why I Said It's You", by Brett Green, Jimmy Turner, Lamont Brown, and Vince D’Ambrosio in early 2012. They released their first EP Welcome to Good Woods in May 2012 and their second EP Daughters Cottage in October 2012.
In late 2013, the band emerged under the new and shortened name, "It Looks Sad." and also signing with local label Tiny Engines. Seasons was the first single they released under their new shortened name [8] and in August 2014 they released their third EP with Tiny Engines called It Looks Sad. [9] They continued touring into 2015 with them announcing they are working on new material. In June 2015 they released their fourth EP Kaiju with the songs "Creature" and "Nagoya" and went on another East Coast tour.
In late 2017 they released Lost Songs, [10] it was released in order to help pay for one of the band members car, which broke down. On Twitter It Looks Sad. stated that it would cost $750 to repair his car and that he would release demos of unused songs or make new ones in-order to help pay for the repair costs. [11]
In 2018 the first single "Light" from It Looks Sad's debut album Sky Lake [6] was released on the Tiny Engines YouTube channel [12] followed by the singles "Drool", "Bike" and "Visor". Sky Lake was released November 2018.

The Innocence Mission is an American indie folk band formed in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1986. The band is composed of Karen Peris, her husband Don Peris, and Mike Bitts. Although all members of the band have contributed to their music, Karen Peris is their main writer.

Greta Simone Kline, formerly known by the stage name Frankie Cosmos, is an American musician and singer-songwriter. She is known for her independent releases, inspired by Frank O'Hara's poetry, DIY ethics of K Records and the early 2000s New York City's anti-folk scene. She is the daughter of actors Kevin Kline and Phoebe Cates. Her former stage name "Frankie Cosmos" is now the name of her band.
Girlpool was an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by friends Avery Tucker and Harmony Tividad. Their debut self-titled EP Girlpool was released on Bandcamp in 2014 and re-released on Wichita Recordings later that year. They released their debut album Before the World Was Big in 2015, followed by Powerplant (2017) and What Chaos Is Imaginary (2019). Their fourth and final studio album, Forgiveness (2022), was released on April 29. In August 2022, the duo announced that they will be taking an indefinite break from the band.

The discography of Turnover, an American rock band, consists of five studio albums, four extended plays, six music videos and five appearances on compilation and split albums. The band was formed in 2009 in Virginia Beach, Virginia and released their eponymous extended play two years later on Broken Rim Records. This first project has been described as emo and pop punk. In 2012, the band signed to Run for Cover Records and put out a split with Citizen. The next year, Turnover released their debut album, Magnolia, on Run for Cover Records. Magnolia reached number 15 on the Top Heatseekers chart, but failed to chart on the Billboard 200. In 2014, the band released their second extended play, Blue Dream, on Broken Rim Records.

Mannequin Pussy is an American punk and indie rock band from Philadelphia, formed in 2010. The band currently consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Marisa "Missy" Dabice, drummer Kaleen Reading, bassist Colins "Bear" Regisford, and guitarist Maxine Steen. They have released three studio albums: Mannequin Pussy (2014) and Romantic (2016) on Tiny Engines, and Patience (2019) on Epitaph Records. They released an EP, Perfect, in 2021.

The duo released three additional albums, THANK YOU (2019), LOVE AND AFFECTION FOR STUPID LITTLE BITCHES (2019), and Peaceful as Hell (2020), before breaking up in 2020. Despite maintaining their declaration of disbandment in 2020, Black Dresses has released two additional albums, Forever in Your Heart (2021) and Forget Your Own Face (2022).
