Ivana Helsinki is a Finnish fashion brand.

The company was founded by designer Paola Anneli Ivana Suhonen together with her sister Pirjo Suhonen in 1998. [1] [2] It launching its first collection in August at the same year consisting of seven products in dark blue denim,[ citation needed ] under the brand name "Ivana Helsinki". Ivana Helsinki's head office and flagship store are located in Helsinki.

In 2007, Ivana Helsinki was the first Nordic company ever to participate in the Paris fashion week. [3] In September 2010 Ivana Helsinki launched its first collection in New York fashion week, Ivana Helsinki is the only Finnish fashion brand accepted in the official IMG calendar in the New York fashion week. [4] In February 2013, Ivana Helsinki showcased their newest collection Rotterdam at the New York fashion week.

In addition to her work with Ivana Helsinki, Paola Suhonen has designed products, concepts and patterns for many companies and associates. Suhonen is a film making graduate from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. [5]

Jenni Mari Vartiainen is a Finnish pop singer. Before her professional musical endeavours, she was a figure skater in her teenage years and attended the Kuopio Senior High of Music and Dance. Vartiainen rose to publicity by winning the Finnish talent show Popstars in October 2002 with Susanna Korvala, Ushma Karnani and Jonna Pirinen. The four formed the band Gimmel that released three studio albums, sold over 160,000 records and received three Emma Awards, accolades for outstanding achievements in music, awarded by the Finnish music industry federation, Musiikkituottajat. The band broke up in October 2004.

She has written food columns and lifestyle articles for various Finnish magazines and newspapers. She gained recognition for her cookbooks and her cooking shows, also appearing as a guest chef in several television shows. Additionally, she has been involved in various brand collaborations with food companies and has also worked in tableware design and fashion modelling.

Mikko Lehtinen is a Finnish film director and founding president of the London-based production company Sauna International Ltd.. Mikko studied directing, TV commercial design, theatre directing and cultural history and started as a production assistant on MTV3 channel. After a few years he moved away from production on to directing where he has stayed to this day.

Maison Margiela, formerly Maison Martin Margiela, is a French luxury fashion house founded by Belgian designer Martin Margiela and Jenny Meirens in 1988 and headquartered in Paris. Product lines include womenswear, menswear, fine jewelry, footwear, accessories, leather goods, objects, fragrance, and home goods, among others. Known for deconstructive and avant-garde designs with unconventional materials, Maison Margiela has traditionally held live shows in unusual settings, for example empty metro stations and street corners. Models' faces are often obscured by fabric or long hair to direct attention to the clothes and design. Margiela resigned as creative designer in 2009 and John Galliano was appointed to the role in 2014.

Antti Asplund is a Finnish fashion designer and artist. He has lived in Helsinki since 2000, and has designed clothes under his eponymous label since 2007.

Ivana Pilja is a fashion designer based out of Belgrade, Serbia. She is known for her avant-garde designs, accentuated by angular edges, architectural shapes and unexpected patterns. Italian Vogue has called her "One of Belgrade's greatest talents..."

Evelyn Mora is a Finnish entrepreneur and the founder of Helsinki Fashion Week, managed by the Nordic Fashion Week Association. In 2021, Nordic Fashion Week filed for bankruptcy, and Mora founded Digital Village, an internet company in Paris. Mora was also the founder of Studio Eneas, which faced criticism from others in the fashion industry for charging aspiring models and their parents for "paid folders" and thousands of euros for overseas trips. In response, Studio Eneas ceased operations and rebranded as the Evelyn Mora Corporation.

Molok Oy is a Finnish company that manufactures and markets deep waste collection containers. In the deep collection system developed by Molok, more than half of the waste containers are underground. Molok is also a registered trademark.

Kalevala is a Finnish jewelry brand owned by Kalevala Koru Oy, a company that designs, manufactures, and markets gold, silver, and bronze jewelry. Kalevala Koru Oy is the largest company in the jewelry industry in Finland and one of the largest in the Nordic countries. Their products are manufactured in Finland.
