John "Jack" E. Love was an American politician who served as one of the first Oklahoma Corporation Commissioners from 1907 to 1918.
J.E. Love was born in San Augustine County,Texas on June 9,1857. He attended public school in Washington County,Texas and in Huntsville,Texas. He came to Oklahoma Territory during the Land Run of 1889 and eventually settled in Woodward County,Oklahoma. [1] He served as the sheriff in that county from 1893 to 1894 and was later elected one of the first Oklahoma Corporation Commission. [2] He served as Corporation Commissioner from 1907 to 1918 when he died in office and was a member of the Democratic Party. [3]
Love County is a county on the southern border of the U.S. state of Oklahoma. As of the 2020 census,the population was 10,146. Its county seat is Marietta. The county was created at statehood in 1907 and named for Overton Love,a prominent Chickasaw farmer,entrepreneur and politician.

Mangum is a city in and county seat of Greer County,Oklahoma,United States. The population was 3,010 at the 2010 census. It was originally part of Old Greer County in the Texas panhandle. The community was named for A. S. Mangum,who owned the land on which the town was founded in 1882. It became part of the Oklahoma Territory in 1896,and thus part of the state of Oklahoma on November 16,1907.

After one term in the house,Bingman ran for the 12th district of the Oklahoma Senate in 2006 and would hold the seat until term limited in 2016. In 2011,he was elected by Republican senators to serve as the President pro tempore of the Oklahoma Senate,a position he would hold until retirement in 2016.
