J. Cardim is an American/Brazilian music producer [1] who has lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and currently lives in New York City.
J. Cardim has worked with many artists including: Lil Wayne, Akon, Ludacris, The L.O.X., Shawty Lo, Fat Joe, Joe Budden, Avant, Cassidy, Termanology, Gorilla Zoe, Saigon, Wale and Talib Kweli. He has contributed music to EA Sports’ NBA Hoopz video game series, the soundtrack for the film Beauty Shop , [2] and MTV’s Defy the Ordinary commercial campaign. [3] Notable work has been done with Ludacris, Red Café, DJ Envy, Joe Budden, Sheek Louch, French Montana, and Paul Wall on their respective albums, as well as projects by his own Dice Music Group artists Ariez Onasis, TUGE Palermo, G-Eyez, and Certified Gz.
In 2009 J. Cardim contributed production to Dr. Dre’s long-delayed album Detox via a Ludacris penned reference song entitled “OG’s Theme”. [4] J. Cardim also released a mixtape in 2009 entitled Your Favorite Rapper’s Favorite Producer. [5] The album is hosted by DJ Envy, and was released in most major digital music stores including iTunes, Amazon.com, [6] Amalgam Digital, [7] and Rhapsody. [8] The project was well-received, achieving a "Hood" rating from XXL magazine. [9]
In February 2009 J. Cardim won the Loud.com producer competition [10] receiving $15,000 and a 3 song production deal with SRC Records/Universal Motown.

Jason Terrance Phillips, better known by his stage name Jadakiss, is an American rapper from Yonkers, New York. He began his career in the 1990s and formed the hip hop trio the Lox alongside Styles P and Sheek Louch in 1994. The group signed with Puff Daddy's Bad Boy Records, an imprint of Arista Records to release their debut studio album, Money, Power & Respect (1998); their second album, We Are the Streets (2000) was released by Ruff Ryders Entertainment, an imprint of Interscope Records. Both peaked within the top five of the Billboard 200 and yielded critical praise; their two subsequent albums, Filthy America... It's Beautiful (2016) and Living Off Xperience (2020) were both released by Jay-Z's Roc Nation and met with continued praise.
The Lox is an American hip hop trio composed of East Coast rappers Sheek Louch, Styles P and Jadakiss. Each hailing from Yonkers, New York, the group formed in 1994 and signed with Puff Daddy's Bad Boy Records two years later to release their debut studio album, Money, Power & Respect (1998). Despite critical and commercial success, the group parted ways with the label in favor of Ruff Ryders Entertainment in 1999, through which they released their similarly successful follow-up, We Are the Streets (2000).

Recording sessions took place at Liveson Studios, Cocoa Studios, D-Block Studios and Green Lantern Studios in New York.
