Joginapally Venkat Narsing Rao was an Indian politician belonging to Indian National Congress. He was one of the signatories from the Telangana region in Gentlemen's agreement of Andhra Pradesh (1956). He was the Deputy Chief Minister in Andhra Pradesh in 1972.
He won as an MLA from Luxettipet in two successive elections in 1967 and 1972 and was also made a Deputy Chief Minister in his second stint. [1] [2]

Although these groups are separate,they share a common social identity and are unified under the Velama community.
Nedurumalli Janardhana Reddy was an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. A member of the Indian National Congress,he represented the Visakhapatnam constituency in the Lok Sabha,the lower house of the Indian legislature. From 1990 to 1992,he served as 12th chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. His wife,Nedurumalli Rajyalakshmi,was a minister in the Government of Andhra Pradesh between 2004 and 2014.
