Raja Hindustani is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Dharmesh Darshan. It tells the story of a cab driver from a small town who falls in love with a rich young woman. Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor play the lead roles. Released on 15 November 1996, the film's plot was inspired from the 1965 film Jab Jab Phool Khile, starring Shashi Kapoor and Nanda. The film's music was composed by Nadeem-Shravan, with lyrics by Sameer. It went on to win five Filmfare Awards, including the awards for Best Film, Best Actors, Best Music and seven Screen Awards.
Aap Ki Kasam is a 1974 Indian Hindi romance film produced by J. Om Prakash, which also marks his directorial debut. The film stars Rajesh Khanna, Mumtaz, Sanjeev Kumar, Rehman, Asrani and A. K. Hangal. The music is by R.D. Burman, who received the only Filmfare nomination for the film. The film was successful at the box office.
Mumbai Meri Jaan is a 2008 Indian drama film directed by Nishikant Kamat and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. It stars R. Madhavan, Irrfan Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Paresh Rawal and Kay Kay Menon. It deals with the aftermath of the 11 July 2006 Mumbai train bombings, where 209 people lost their lives and over 700 were injured. It won multiple Filmfare Awards.
Jaan Se Pyaara is a 1992 Indian Hindi-language action-romantic comedy film directed by Anand. It stars Govinda and Divya Bharti. Aruna Irani, Kiran Kumar, Raza Murad appear in supporting roles. The film was an unofficial remake of Heart of Dragon (1985). The concept of one actor playing the role of both brothers, unlike in the original version, was borrowed from the Kannada movie Shivashankar (1990) which was also based on Heart of Dragon. It was a modest hit.

The movie was stated to be the costliest Punjabi movie ever made and was the first Punjabi movie to be shot in Switzerland. Tera Mera Ki Rishta was also the first Punjabi Movie to be promoted online by www.punjabiportal.com. The movie is a remake of the 2005 Telugu movie Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana.
