Jaana Laitinen-Pesola (born 6 September 1958) is a Finnish politician and a member of the Finnish Parliament, representing the National Coalition Party. Laitinen-Pesola was born in Pori, and was elected to the parliament in 2015, gaining 3,483 votes in the elections. [1] She was the chairman of Tehy 1997–2013. [2]

Central Finland is one of the 13 electoral districts of the Parliament of Finland, the national legislature of Finland. The district was established as Vaasa Province East in 1907 when the Diet of Finland was replaced by the Parliament of Finland. It was renamed Central Finland Province in 1960 and Central Finland in 1997. It is conterminous with the region of Central Finland. The district currently elects 10 of the 200 members of the Parliament of Finland using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2023 parliamentary election it had 226,335 registered electors.
Koivusaari is an island and a part of the district of Lauttasaari in Helsinki, Finland. The island hosts two yacht clubs and a former Nokia training centre. The current island of Koivusaari has been formed by combining the island of Koivusaari proper with the island of Leppäsaari to the south of it and expanding it. Since the late 1990s and early 2000s there have been plans to construct a new residential area on reclaimed land in Koivusaari, served by the Koivusaari metro station.
Venne "Verner" Järvinen was a Finnish track and field athlete, who competed mostly in throwing events. He won the gold medal in the Greek-style discus in the 1906 Intercalated Games, and the bronze in the 1908 Summer Olympics, becoming the first Finnish Olympic medalist in athletics. He won the Finnish championship in Greek style discus three times in 1909–1911 and held the national record in discus and hammer throw.
Mika Sinuhe Wallinheimo is a Finnish politician and former professional ice hockey goaltender. As the last team he represented JYP in the SM-liiga. After his sporting career he entered politics and was elected to the Parliament of Finland as an MP for the National Coalition Party in the 2011 election and reelected in 2015 and 2019. His parents derived his name Sinuhe from the protagonist of the novel The Egyptian.

However he eventually failed to make the eventual head-to-head round within the Coalition Party, which saw Alexander Stubb defeat Paula Risikko.
