Jacinthe Bouchard is a Canadian animal behaviorist and trainer. Bouchard is from Montreal and has lived in Mauricie for almost thirty years. [1] She is widely recognized as a trainer of zoo animals, [2] [ failed verification ] as well as a dog trainer [3] and is the director of the only government-licensed animal training school in Canada. [4] Bouchard and other trainers at Zoo Academy, have trained several crows to locate lost hikers in the forest. [5] She is the author of Devenez le meilleur ami de votre chien [Become your dog's best friend]. [6] Bouchard also appears on the Salut Boujour Week End television show. [7]

Cubitus is a Franco-Belgian comics series, and the basis for the Wowser cartoon series appearing in the United States. Cubitus was created by the Belgian cartoonist Dupa, and features Cubitus, a large anthropomorphic dog, who lives with his owner Semaphore. Serge Bouchard is a Canadian anthropologist and writer from Quebec, who won the Governor General's Award for French-language non-fiction at the 2017 Governor General's Awards for his book Les Yeux tristes de mon camion.

Léa Clermont-Dion

Léa Clermont-Dion is a Canadian author, feminist, television and radio host, and body image advocate. She was a co-facilitator, with Jacinthe Veillette, and spokesperson of the Québec Charter for a Healthy and Diverse Body Image. Clermont-Dion came to public attention during an appearance on the television programme Tout le monde en parle in October 2009. She is a doctoral student in political science at Laval University and the author of La revanche des moches (2014) and Les Superbes (2016).

<i>Family First</i> (film)

Family First is a 2018 Canadian crime film directed by Sophie Dupuis. The film premiered at the Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois. It is about a family in Verdun, Montreal, Quebec, including the protagonist JP, whose uncle Dany leads a drug cartel. It was nominated for four Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Motion Picture, winning Best Actor for Théodore Pellerin.

Jennifer Couëlle,, is a children's book author based in Montreal, Canada. Her albums and collections of poems have been published in France and Canada.

Théodore Pellerin is a Canadian film and television actor from Quebec. He is most noted for his performance in the 2018 film Family First , for which he won the Prix Iris for Revelation of the Year at the 20th Quebec Cinema Awards, and the Canadian Screen Award for Best Actor at the 7th Canadian Screen Awards. He is set to star as Oliver Larsson in the upcoming Netflix film There's Someone Inside Your House.

<i>A Colony</i>

A Colony is a Canadian drama film from Quebec, directed by Geneviève Dulude-De Celles and released in 2018. The film centres on Mylia, a young girl starting high school who is torn between her new friendships with Jacinthe, a bad influence who encourages her to experiment with sex and alcohol, and Jimmy, an artistic First Nations student. The film's cast also includes Irlande Côté as Mylia's younger sister Camille, and Noémie Godin-Vigneau and Robin Aubert as their parents.

Patrick Bouchard is a Canadian animator. A graduate of the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, he made his first animated film Jean Leviériste while attending that institution.

The Prix Iris for Best Live Action Short Film is an annual film award presented by Québec Cinéma as part of its Prix Iris program, to honour the year's best short film made within the cinema of Quebec.

Marie-Christine Lévesque Canadian author

Marie-Christine Lévesque was a Canadian art director, author and editor. As an art director she won the 2005 Applied Arts Award for the cover design of 9 Vues. Her partner was Serge Bouchard and she co-authored books with him including Elles ont fait l’Amérique : De remarquables oubliés, tome 1 and Le peuple rieur. Hommage à mes amis innus, the latter of which won the 2018 Le Prix Victor-Barbeau award. Her writings explored the lives of North American people from the 16th century to the 19th century and the Innu people.
