Jack Madden is an American retired professional basketball referee. He was born in Trenton, NJ. [1]

Madden's career accomplishments included officiating in the 1970 NBA All-Star Game, 1975 ABA All-Star Game, 1978 NBA Finals, 1979 NBA All-Star Game, 1980 NBA Finals, 1981 NBA Finals, 1984 NBA Finals, 1986 NBA All-Star Game, 1989 NBA Finals, 1990 NBA Finals, 1991 NBA Finals and 1993 NBA All-Star Game, 1994 NBA Finals

Madden broke his leg officiating a 1985 game between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers. [2]

Earl "Yogi" Strom was an American professional basketball referee for 29 years in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and for three years in the American Basketball Association (ABA). His NBA and ABA officiating career as both a referee and Supervisor of Officials spanned the careers of all-time pro basketball greats, from George Mikan, Bob Cousy, Dolph Schayes and Bob Pettit in the 1950s, to Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, Elgin Baylor and Bill Russell in the 1960s, to Julius Erving, Rick Barry, Bill Bradley and Walt Frazier in the 1970s and to Larry Bird and Magic Johnson in the 1980s.

Javie officiated 1,514 regular season, 243 playoff, and 23 NBA Finals games and is one of few NBA referees to officiate 1,000 games. According to Referee magazine, Javie was a highly regarded referee in the NBA, and he was respected within the officiating community for his game management skills. He was also notable during his NBA officiating career for his quickness in assessing technical fouls.

Marvin "Mendy" Rudolph was an American professional basketball referee in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 22 years, from 1953 to 1975. One of the few basketball game officials to be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame, Rudolph was the first league referee to work 2,000 games. and officiated 2,112 NBA games in all, a record that he held at retirement. He was also selected to referee eight NBA All-Star Games and made 22 consecutive NBA Finals appearances.

He cited a widely debunked theory that aborted fetal tissue are used in the vaccines as the reason for his refusal. Zachary Zarba is an American professional basketball referee in the National Basketball Association. He wore uniform number 58 until the 2012–2013 season, when he changed to 28, and currently wears uniform number 15. Zach has officiated 1,182 regular-season games in 19 seasons as an NBA staff official, beginning in 2004. He has also refereed 133 playoff games, including 11 NBA Finals games. Other assignments have included the 2016 NBA All-Star Game in Toronto.

Hue Spencer Hollins, Sr. was an American professional basketball referee for the National Basketball Association (NBA). During his 27-year career in the NBA, Hollins officiated 19 NBA Finals games and five NBA All-Star Games. He is notable for working the Finals every year during the 1990s and for a notorious call during a 1994 NBA Playoffs game between the Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks. Hollins was probed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) over the 2007 NBA betting scandal involving former referee Tim Donaghy.

Tony Brothers is an American professional basketball referee who works in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has been a referee in the NBA since the 1994–95 season. Now in his 29th year, Brothers has officiated in over 1,700 regular season games, 186 playoff games and 16 NBA Finals games. He officiated the 2009 NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix, Arizona. In a survey of NBA players, Brothers was voted the best referee, though at the same time, many voted him amongst the least favorite referees. He wears the uniform number 25.
