The Miami RedHawks men's basketball team — known as the Miami Redskins until 1997 — is the intercollegiate men's basketball program representing Miami University. The school competes in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The RedHawks play home basketball games at Millett Hall in Oxford, Ohio on the university campus. Miami has reached the NCAA Championship's Sweet Sixteen four times and has been the MAC regular season champions 20 times. The team is currently coached by Jack Owens.

The Miami RedHawks men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio. The RedHawks are a member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC), starting play in the conference in the conference's 2013–14 inaugural season. Prior to the NCHC, from 1980 to 2013, the RedHawks were a member of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA). They play in Steve Cady Arena at the Goggin Ice Center.

The RedHawks, led by fifth-year head coach John Cooper, played their home games at Millett Hall, as members of the East Division of the Mid-American Conference. They finished the season 11–21, 4–14 in MAC play to finish in last place. As the No. 12 seed in the MAC Tournament, they lost in the first round to Western Michigan.

The 1962 Miami Redskins football team was an American football team that represented Miami University in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) during the 1962 NCAA University Division football season. In its seventh and final season under head coach John Pont, Miami compiled an 8–2–1 record, finished in third place in the MAC, lost to Houston in the 1962 Tangerine Bowl, and outscored all opponents by a combined total of 241 to 175. The season included a 10-7 victory over No. 9 ranked Purdue a victory ranked among the greatest victories in program history.

They finished the season 15–17 overall, 7–11 in MAC play to finish in fifth place in the East Division. As the No. 9 seed in the MAC Tournament, they were defeated in the first round by Akron.
