Jack Owens (born April 3, 1977) is the former head coach of the Miami RedHawks men's basketball team. [1] He is currently the Assistant coach under Chris Holtmann for the Depaul Blue Demons basketball team.

John Doxie Moore was an American basketball player and coach. He attended Delphi High School in Delphi, Indiana, and played college basketball at Purdue University from 1930 to 1934, playing alongside John Wooden as Purdue laid claim to the 1932 Helms Athletic Foundation National Championship. He coached several professional basketball teams, including the Sheboygan Red Skins, the Anderson Packers and the Milwaukee Hawks in the 1940s and 1950s.
Megan Duffy is an American women's basketball coach, currently the head coach at Virginia Tech. Cuonzo LaMar Martin is an American basketball coach and former player who is in his second tenure as the head men's basketball coach at Missouri State University. The Miami RedHawks football program represents Miami University, located in Oxford, Ohio, in college football at the NCAA Division I FBS level. The RedHawks compete in the Mid-American Conference and are known for producing several high-profile head coaches, earning it the nickname "Cradle of Coaches". With sponsorship of men's swimming & diving transferring from the MAC to the Missouri Valley Conference in 2024–25, Miami will become a single-sport member of the latter. The football team competes in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), the highest level for college football. The RedHawks are arch-rivals with the Ohio Bobcats. In box scores for sporting events, the RedHawks sports teams are usually referred to as Miami (OH) to differentiate from the Miami Hurricanes, a Division I school in Florida.

Taver Johnson is an American football coach who is an assistant defensive backs coach for the Philadelphia Eagles. He previously served as an assistant coach for the Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL and spent 23 years coaching in the college football ranks. Johnson attended and played college football at Wittenberg University (1990–1993), where he was a back-to-back All-American and the All-North Coast Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 1992 and 1993.

They finished the season 16–18, 8–10 in MAC play to finish in third place in the East Division. They defeated Ohio in the first round of the MAC tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to Toledo. They were invited to the College Basketball Invitational where they lost in the first round to Campbell.
