Jackie Thrasher (born September 23,1957) was a member of the Arizona house of representatives from 2007 to 2009. [2] She was elected to the house in November 2006. [3] In 2008,she ran for re-election,winning the Democratic primary,while losing in the general election to the fellow incumbents James Weiers and Doug Quelland. [4] She attempted to regain her seat in 2010,winning the Democratic primary,but losing in the general election to Jim Weiers and Kimberly Yee. [5] After redistricting,in 2012 she attempted to return to the house in District 20,winning the Democratic primary,but losing to Paul Boyer and Carl Seel. [6]
Lela Alston is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Arizona State Senate representing District 5 since January 9,2023. Robert Blendu was a member of the Arizona State Senate from 2003 through 2009. He was first elected to the Senate in November 2002,and was re-elected twice,in 2004 and 2006. In 2008 Blendu decided to not seek re-election to the Senate and ran for a seat in the Arizona House of Representatives in the same district. However,he lost to Steve Montenegro and Jerry Weiers in the Republican primary.

Along with Gabrielle Giffords,he was one of the two candidates to win the Democratic primary. However,in the general election,while Giffords won,Downing came in third,losing to Carol Somers. In November 2002,he ran again for the house,this time in District 28 following redistricting,and won. He won re-election to the House in 2004. In 2006,Downing decided not to seek re-election to the House,and chose to run for the State Senate. However,he lost in the Democratic primary to Paula Aboud,who ran unopposed in the general election. He ran again in the 2010 election for the Senate seat from District 28,this time as an independent,finishing a distant third in the election.

In 2008 he ran again for the House in District 23,and won the Democratic primary along with Barbara McGuire. However,while McGuire won,Bustamante lost in the general election to Frank Pratt. He again ran in 2010,and won the Democratic primary,along with McGuire,but in the general election they both lost to Pratt and John Fillmore. He ran once again in 2012,this time in District 8,after redistricting. He and Emily Verdugo won the Democratic primary,but they both lost in the general election,to Pratt and T. J. Shope.
Kathi Foster is a former member of the Arizona House of Representatives. She served in the House from January 1995 through January 2003,serving district 14. Not eligible to run for the House in 2002,due to Arizona term limit laws,she ran for the State Senate in the newly redistricted District 13,but lost in the Democratic primary to Richard Miranda. She ran again for the Senate in 2004,this time in District 12,but lost in the general election to incumbent Robert Blendu.
