Jackson Pearce (born 1984) [2] is an American author. She writes young adult fiction, middle grade fiction, romance, and also publishes as J. Nelle Patrick.
Pearce was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and, as of 2018 [update] , lives in Decatur, Georgia. [3] [4] She started writing at the age of twelve. [3] She attended Brookwood High School and went on to Georgia College & State University [ citation needed ] before transferring to and graduating from the University of Georgia where she received her degree in English, minoring in philosophy.
