The Jacksonville Baseball Complex was a baseball diamond that once existed in Ragsdale Park in Jacksonville, Texas, and was the home of the Jacksonville Jax. [1] The Jacksonville Rodeo Arena now occupies the site. [2] Home plate was in the northwest corner of the square block.
The site of the former ballpark and present-day rodeo arena is situated on the corner of Mulberry and Bridge streets in Jacksonville. [3]

Rosenberg is adjacent to the city of Richmond, the Fort Bend County seat.

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, also called RodeoHouston or abbreviated HLSR, is the largest livestock exhibition and rodeo in the world. It includes one of the richest regular-season professional rodeo events. The Mesquite Championship Rodeo is a rodeo located in Mesquite, Texas, United States, that operates from June through August. It is only a 15 minute drive from Dallas, Texas. It is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). In 2020, it was awarded the PRCA Small Rodeo of the Year award. It was also awarded the Texas Small Rodeo of the Year Award.
Drillers Stadium was a former minor league baseball stadium located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. From 1981 to 2009, Drillers Stadium was home to the Tulsa Drillers, of the Double-A Texas League. For a number of years Drillers Stadium also hosted one of the regular season baseball games played between Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma in the Bedlam Series. Drillers Stadium is located on the southwest corner of Yale Avenue and 15th Street, in the Tulsa State Fairgrounds complex that also includes Expo Square Pavilion, the QuikTrip Center and Golden Driller, a racetrack, a waterpark, and the sites of the former Bell's Amusement Park and of Oiler Park, where Tulsa's professional baseball teams had played since 1934.

Lon Morris College (LMC) was a private junior college located in Jacksonville, Texas, United States, and was the only school affiliated with the United Methodist Church that was owned by an individual conference and not the denomination as a whole. Lon Morris was an accredited two-year institute of higher learning, which provided instruction in the arts and sciences with a core curriculum emphasizing liberal arts. While Lon Morris taught as many as 350 students in a semester, enrollment reached more than 1,000, a new record, in the fall of 2009. The school was 30 miles (48 km) south of Tyler. The person who last held the title of college president was Dr. Miles McCall; he resigned effective May 24, 2012.

The Jacksonville Equestrian Center is an equestrian facility at the Cecil Commerce Center in Jacksonville, Florida. It consists of an indoor multi-purpose arena, officially named Championship Arena, two outdoor competition arenas, two outdoor warm-up arenas, a turf arena, 426 permanent stalls, and 70 Full Service RV spaces. The facility has a grand opening in March, 2004; it is home to several horse-related events. In 2007 it was projected to be the home of the Jacksonville Pelicans of the National Indoor Football League.
