Jacob Golden is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Portland, Oregon. After the dissolution of his former band, Birthday, in 2000 he has worked as a solo artist and collaborated with different electronica musicians and producers.
Golden's debut album Hallelujah World was released in 2002 on Rough Trade. Featured on the Faultline album Your Love Means Everything in 2002/2004. His second record Revenge Songs was released on Sawtooth/Echo in 2007.
His song 'On a Saturday' appeared in the series finale of the Fox Drama The O.C. .
A self-described admirer of the idea of creating "modern field recordings", [1] most of the album was recorded in Golden's home in Portland, and all background noise has been left in the finished record. On 'Zero Integrity' an ambulance siren can be heard in the background. Other tracks were recorded in underground car parks, concrete art galleries and at The Magic Closet in Portland.
Hand made limited edition copies of 'Revenge Songs' were made.
Sea Power, previously known as British Sea Power and initially as British Air Power, are an English alternative rock band. Their original lineup consisted of Scott Wilkinson, known as Yan, Neil Hamilton Wilkinson, known as Hamilton, Martin Noble, known as Noble (guitar) and Matthew Wood, known as Wood (drums). Phantom Buffalo is an indie-rock band from Portland, Maine. The band was known as The Ponys until 2004, when both Portland's Ponys and Chicago-based band The Ponys were invited to perform at South by Southwest. The Pains of Being Pure at Heart were an American indie pop band from New York City, formed in 2007. The band centered around founding member and principal songwriter Kip Berman. In the band's final iteration, Berman was joined in concert by Christoph Hochheim (guitar), Jen Goma, Jacob Sloan (bass), and Anton Hochheim (drums). Former members and contributors include Peggy Wang, Connor Hanwick, Kurt Feldman and Alex Naidus.

Drowners are an American-Welsh indie rock band formed in New York City in 2011 by Matthew Hitt, Jack Ridley III, Erik Lee Snyder (bass) and Daniel Jacobs (drums). Their first release was the EP Between Us Girls which appeared in early 2013. In January 2014 their debut album Drowners was released worldwide preceded by the single "Luv, Hold Me Down". Aruba Red is a British, London-based alt-soul and trip hop musician, named after a female pirate legend. Aruba Red's music has been said to cross traditional boundaries, she has described her sound as "Alternative Soul music centred around themes of transformation and healing, influenced by trip hop, minimalist electronica, glitch, soul, acoustic folk and dub". She is also the daughter of Cream bassist, vocalist and songwriter Jack Bruce and recorded backing vocals for his last album Silver Rails which was released on 24 March 2014 on Esoteric Records. Her lyrics have been said to be passionate and intelligent, dealing with emotive subject matter. and "providing a campfire for anyone who needs to feel the warmth".
