Jacques van der Poel (born 5 January 1963) is a Dutch former professional racing cyclist. [1] He rode in the 1986 Giro d'Italia and the 1987 Tour de France.

Vacansoleil–DCM Pro Cycling Team was a Dutch professional road race cycling team. They were a UCI ProTeam and competed in the UCI World Tour. The team was established in 2005, as the successor of P3 Transfer-Batavus, while also taking over many of the riders and staff of Cycle Collstrop, the former team of manager Van der Schueren. Neither Vacansoleil or DCM renewed their sponsorship of the program after the 2013 season.

Mathieu van der Poel is a Dutch cyclist who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Alpecin–Fenix. He competes in the cyclo-cross, mountain bike racing and road bicycle racing disciplines of the sport and is best known for winning the Cyclo-cross World Championships in Tábor in 2015, Bogense in 2019, Dübendorf in 2020 and Ostend in 2021, the Junior Road Race World Championships in Florence in 2013, and twice winning the Junior Cyclo-cross World Championships, in Koksijde in 2012 and Louisville in 2013; the first rider to win multiple titles at that level. As well as this, Van der Poel was the winner of the 2018 Dutch National Road Race Championships in Hoogerheide, as well as the 2019 editions of Dwars door Vlaanderen, the Brabantse Pijl, and the Amstel Gold Race.

2019 Tour of Britain Cycling race

The 2019 Ovo Energy Tour of Britain was an eight-stage men's professional road cycling race. It was the sixteenth running of the modern version of the Tour of Britain and the 79th British tour in total. The race started on 7 September 2019 in Glasgow and finished on 14 September 2019 in Manchester. It is part of the 2019 UCI Europe Tour.

The 104th edition of the Tour of Flanders one-day cycling classic was held on 18 October 2020, as the 20th event of the 2020 UCI World Tour.
