Jake Arnold is a British interior designer based in Los Angeles, and co-founder of The Expert.

Career

Arnold has worked with several celebrity clients including Aaron Paul, [1] Rashida Jones, Julianne Hough, Sophia Bush, Katy Perry, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, [2] as well as entrepreneurs such as Stewart Butterfield, Jen Rubio, and Katherine Power. [3]

Arnold's work has been featured in publications such as Architectural Digest, Forbes, [4] CNN, [5] Vogue (magazine) [6] and Better Homes and Gardens (magazine), [7] as well as on the cover of ELLE Decor. [8]

In 2019, Arnold was named one of The Hollywood Reporter's Top 20 Interior Designers in Los Angeles. [9]

In 2021, Arnold was named to Architectural Digest's 'AD100' list of top designers for 2022. [10]

The Expert

In February 2021, Arnold's co-founded a company, The Expert, alongside his best friend and serial entrepreneur Leo Seigal, with the launch announced in Architectural Digest. [11]

In April 2021, it was announced that Arnold and The Expert had raised $3 million in seed funding from investors including Kirsten Green's Forerunner Ventures and Gwyneth Paltrow. [11]

In September 2021, Arnold was a speaker at the "Future of Home" conference in New York, where it was revealed that the platform had grown to over 150 'A-list' designers. [12]

goop (company) Lifestyle brand founded by Gwyneth Paltrow

Goop is a wellness and lifestyle brand and company founded by actress Gwyneth Paltrow. Launched in September 2008, Goop started out as a weekly e-mail newsletter providing new age advice, such as "police your thoughts" and "eliminate white foods", and the slogan "Nourish the Inner Aspect". A website was later added, and then Goop expanded into e-commerce, collaborating with fashion brands, launching pop-up shops, holding a "wellness summit", launching a print magazine, a podcast, and a docuseries for Netflix.

Marmol Radziner is a design-build practice based in Los Angeles that was founded in 1989 by American architects Leo Marmol and Ron Radziner. The firm specializes in residential, commercial, hospitality, cultural, and community projects, and offers various design services, including architectural design, construction, landscape design, interior design, furniture design, jewelry design, and modern architecture restoration.

Madeline Stuart is an Elle Decor A-List& Architectural Digest "AD100" interior designer and furniture designer. She is based in Los Angeles, CA, and is self-described as "equally at ease designing a 1920s Hollywood hacienda, a Fifth Avenue Manhattan apartment or a Rocky Mountain retreat." Several publications have featured her works, including Galerie Magazine's inclusion of a Southern California home that displays modern art and a feature in Veranda displaying to a home she restored that was built by Cedric Gibbons for his wife/actress Dolores del Río.

Cliff Fong is an American interior designer, fashion designer, and television personality. He is the founder of the Los Angeles interior design firm Matt Blacke Inc. In 2009 he opened show room Galerie Half on Melrose Avenue with partners. Cliff served as host, mentor and judge on Ellen's Design Challenge. He worked as a fashion buyer for Ron Herman, Fred Segal and Maxfield in Los Angeles. Later working as a stylist, consultant and fashion designer. In 2004 he co-founded Chatav Ectabit with Sandy Dalal. As a consulatant, he has worked with international retailers such as Harvey Nichols, Isetan, and Joyce, Hong Kong.
