Jake Rodenhouse is a record producer and multi-instrumentalist, and the founder of Perfect Sound Studios. He was also a member of the band The City Drive. He currently resides in Hollywood, California.
Between 2002 and 2004, Jake combined efforts with Dave Drago to operate the Hopewell Recording Studio in Canandaigua, New York; a foray self described as a "project studio." It recorded artists predominantly from the Rochester area. While the studio is no longer recording, its website remains for archiving purposes.
Once finished with the Canandaigua studio, Jake moved to Los Angeles, California, where he met Chris Perry and eventually became a bass player for The City Drive in 2007. Immediately following the band's dismemberment, Jake, along with Norm Kerner, began the development of a private recording studio, Perfect Sound Studios, which began recording in November 2009, and is located in the salubrious Hollywood Hills.
Alongside Jake is Jason Donaghy, audio engineer who worked on Band of Horses' Grammy nominated album, Infinite Arms, while at Perfect Sound.

Jimmy Eat World is an American rock band formed in 1993 in Mesa, Arizona. The band is composed of lead vocalist and lead guitarist Jim Adkins, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Tom Linton, bassist Rick Burch, and drummer Zach Lind. They have released ten studio albums, the last nine featuring the current lineup.
A Perfect Circle is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1999 by guitarist Billy Howerdel and Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan. A Perfect Circle has released four studio albums, the first three during the early 2000s: Mer de Noms, their debut album in 2000, and followed up by Thirteenth Step in 2003; then in 2004, Emotive—an album of radically re-worked cover songs. Shortly after Emotive's release, the band went on hiatus; Keenan returned to Tool and started up solo work under the band name Puscifer, while Howerdel released a solo album, Keep Telling Myself It's Alright, under the moniker Ashes Divide. Band activity was sporadic in the following years; the band reformed in 2010, and played live shows on and off between 2010 and 2013, but fell into inactivity after the release of their greatest hits album, Three Sixty, and a live album box set, A Perfect Circle Live: Featuring Stone and Echo in late 2013. The band reformed in 2017 to record a fourth album, Eat the Elephant, which was released on April 20, 2018.

Band of Horses is an American rock band formed in 2004 in Seattle, Washington by Ben Bridwell. The band has released five studio albums, including 2010's Grammy-nominated Infinite Arms. The band's lineup, which included Mat Brooke for the debut album, has undergone several changes. The most-recent lineup of Bridwell, Ryan Monroe, Tyler Ramsey, Bill Reynolds, and Creighton Barrett, was together several years and recorded three albums. That lineup ceased when Ramsey and Reynolds departed in 2017.

Hailing from Dublin, he currently resides in Los Angeles, California, where he has garnered two Grammy nominations; for his work on Band of Horses' third record, Infinite Arms, and Sum 41's fifth record, Screaming Bloody Murder, respectively, while at Perfect Sound Studios.
