Jack Hurst of The Chicago Tribune gave the album three stars out of four, saying that "Most of this record is very rhythmic, with lyrics tending toward the simple but eloquent." [1]

Honkytonkville is the twenty-second studio album by American country music singer George Strait, released in June 10, 2003 by MCA Nashville. One of only a few albums of his career not to produce a Number One single, the album was certified platinum by the RIAA. It produced the singles "Tell Me Something Bad About Tulsa", "Cowboys Like Us" and "Desperately", at #11, #2 and #6 respectively on the country charts. "Honk If You Honky Tonk" also charted at #45 based on unsolicited airplay.

It Would Be You is the second studio album by American country music singer Gary Allan. It was released on May 19, 1998, as his last studio album for the Decca Records Nashville label. After that album's release, Decca Records Nashville closed, so Gary Allan signed contracts with MCA Records Nashville. The title track was Allan's second Top 10 hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart at number 7.
Too Cold at Home is the second studio album by American country music artist Mark Chesnutt, released in 1990 on MCA Records.
