James Turner is a Canadian illustrator, comic book writer, and artist. He wrote the series Rex Libris for the Slave Labor Graphics (SLG) Publishing Company. The comic ran between 2005 and 2008, for a total of 13 issues. His most recent graphic novel, "Warlord of Io', is about a spoiled rich kid who inherits a planet.
James Montgomery Flagg was an American artist, comics artist, and illustrator. He worked in media ranging from fine art painting to cartooning, but is best remembered for his political posters, particularly his 1917 poster of Uncle Sam created for United States Army recruitment during World War I.
Johnny the Homicidal Maniac is the first comic book by Jhonen Vasquez. The series tells the story of a young man named Johnny “Nny” C. as he explores the psychological and possibly supernatural forces which compel him to commit a string of murders with which he always seems to get away. JtHM began as a comic strip in the 1990s, then ran under alternative comics publisher Slave Labor Graphics as a limited series of seven issues, later collected in the trade paperback Johnny the Homicidal Maniac: Director's Cut. The series produced three spin-offs: Squee!, I Feel Sick and Fillerbunny.

Gargoyles is a fictional team of characters appearing in comic book series initially published by Slave Labor Graphics and Creature Comics between 2006 and 2009 and by Dynamite Entertainment since 2022. It was based on the 1994 animated television series Gargoyles, and was written by series co-creator Greg Weisman. The comic continues the storyline of the first two seasons and ignores all but the first episode of the third season, The Goliath Chronicles.
Street Angel is an alternative comic book limited series by Jim Rugg and Brian Maruca. It was published in 2004 by Slave Labor Graphics, and lasted five issues. In 2016 Jim Rugg would start posting new and old street angel comics online as webcomics, both to his personal website and the Tapas syndicate. Five graphic novels and a one shot were later released by Image Comics between 2017 and 2018, two of them being re-releases of web comics. These books were printed at a larger scale than the original issues, hard cover and full color. They were collected as a single trade paperback in 2019.

D. W. Frydendall is a comic book artist best known for his horror art. Born in Los Angeles he grew up in Arcadia, a suburb outside of Pasadena, California. At an early age he showed an aptitude at drawing creatures such as the Wolfman. In interviews he claims he was a "strange" child. D.W. was highly influenced by illustrator Harry Clarke's art in an illustrated book of Edgar Allan Poe's writings.
