Early life

D'Souza grew up in Shepperton and attended Cardiff University [2] where he studied Maths. [3] His parents met at the University of Surrey Scrabble society. [4]

D'Souza supports the Arsenal football team. [5]

Career

D'Souza first performed in Edinburgh in 2017, where he reached the final of the So You Think You're Funny competition. [6]

D'Souza performed at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe along with Chelsea Kirkby in a show named 'Bad Boys'. [7]

In 2022, D'Souza returned to the Edinburgh Fringe with a solo show named 'Stop Drawing Willies On My Poster'. [8] The show was recorded and offered onboard British Airways' inflight entertainment system. [9] It was also made available on the streaming service ITVX. [10]

D'Souza wrote and starred in an episode of Laugh Lessons titled 'BBC Flats'. [11] He has also written for Never Mind The Buzzcocks. [12]

The original Edinburgh Fringe podcast ran from 2011 to 2013, and took place most days for the duration of the Fringe, focusing on interviews with performers at the festival. They also contain short stand-up segments from Fringe performers. The Leicester Square Theatre Podcast, recorded at Leicester Square in London, began in 2012 and follows a similar format, with higher profile guests. It runs for a shorter series than the Edinburgh Fringe version, with weekly recordings.
