James Albert Rivers (born September 22, 1945) is a former American football linebacker who played eight seasons in the NFL. Rivers played college football at Bowling Green University.

Rivers was the St. Louis Cardinals fifth-round selection in the 1967 NFL Draft. He started nine games in 1968 and was named the Cardinals team Rookie of the Year. [1] Rivers played in St. Louis from 1968-1973. He was traded to the New York Jets in 1974 where he played his last two seasons. [2]

A 6'2", 185-lb. undrafted wide receiver and punt returner from the University of North Texas, Smith played for the Washington Redskins, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the St.Louis/Phoenix Cardinals. His best year as a professional came during the strike shortened 1987 season for the Cardinals when he led the NFL with 91 receptions for 1,117 yards.

Samuel Jacob Bradford is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons, most notably with the St. Louis Rams and Minnesota Vikings. He was also a member of the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals. Bradford attended Putnam City North High School in Oklahoma City, where he starred in football, basketball and golf. As a senior quarterback in 2005, he threw for 2,029 yards and 17 touchdowns in 12 games. Bradford was not highly recruited coming out of high school, but he did receive a scholarship offer from the University of Oklahoma, which he accepted. After a redshirt season in 2006, Bradford threw for 3,121 yards and 36 touchdowns as a redshirt freshman. In 2008, Bradford became only the second sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy as he led the highest-scoring offense in NCAA history, passing for 4,720 yards with 50 touchdowns and just eight interceptions. He again led the nation in passing and also added five rushing touchdowns as the Sooners went 12-1 and advanced to the BCS national title game.

In his sophomore season, he was recognized as a consensus All-American, won the Chuck Bednarik Award as the best defensive player in college football, and was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. Mathieu was dismissed from the LSU football program after that season due to a violation of team rules.

Donald Edward Parish was an American football linebacker. Parish played at Stanford, where he was the Pop Warner Trophy winner in 1969. He was chosen in the fourth round of the 1970 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals. Parish played three seasons for the Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, and Denver Broncos.
