Janice (Jan) Faye Bowman (born 20 November 1953) is a retired Australian women's basketball player.
Bowman played for the Australia women's national basketball team during the 1970s and competed for Australia at the 1975 World Championship held in Colombia. [2] At the Championship, Bowman contracted German measles the day of the first game and was put into isolation for the rest of the tournament. [3] At 182 cm (6 ft 0 in) tall, Bowman played Centre. [4] Bowman played in an era before the creation of the Women's National Basketball League in 1981. Although Bowman was born in Brisbane, she played for Victoria at the national (state v state) basketball championships. [4]
Adam Matthew Gibson is an Australian former professional basketball player who is a development coach for the South East Melbourne Phoenix of the National Basketball League (NBL). He played 16 years in the NBL for the Brisbane Bullets, South Dragons, Gold Coast Blaze, Adelaide 36ers and Phoenix. He is a two-time NBL champion, having won his first in 2007 with the Bullets and his second in 2009 with the Dragons. He is also a five-time All-NBL Team member and was crowned the NBL Best Defensive Player in 2009.

Ken Richardson was an American basketball player who played his entire professional career in Australia. He became a South Australian basketball icon playing for the West Adelaide Bearcats in the SA State League and the National Basketball League (NBL). Richardson, who played his college basketball at Ohio Dominican University and was a Mid Ohio Conference First Team selection in 1970–71, joined West Adelaide in 1974, winning the 1975 Woollacott Medal en route to his first SA state championship. He went on to win the NBL's inaugural Most Valuable Player award in 1979 and led the Bearcats to the NBL championship in 1982 as player-coach.
Brian Edward Kerle is an Australian former basketball player and coach. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1972 Summer Olympics. As a coach, he led the St. Kilda Pumas and the Brisbane Bullets to two championships each in the National Basketball League (NBL). In 2006, Kerle was inducted into the NBL Hall of Fame.
