Jan Jensen (born August 19, 1971) is a retired Danish ice hockey goaltender who participated at the 2003 and 2004 IIHF World Championships as a member of the Denmark men's national ice hockey team.

Denmark once held the record for the largest loss when they were defeated by Canada in 1949, 47–0, only being surpassed by New Zealand who were defeated by Australia 58–0 in 1987.
The Rødovre Mighty Bulls is a Danish professional ice hockey team based in Rødovre, Denmark, playing in the Metal Ligaen, the top tier of Danish ice hockey. The club was founded in 1961 and play their home games in the Rødovre Skøjte Arena which has a capacity of 3,600 spectators.

The 2007 IIHF World U18 Championship Division I were a pair of international under-18 ice hockey tournaments run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The Division I tournaments made up the second level of competition at the 2007 IIHF World U18 Championships. The Group A tournament took place between 6 April and 12 April 2007 in Maribor, Slovenia and the Group B tournament took place between 4 April and 10 April 2007 in Sanok, Poland. Belarus and Denmark won the Group A and Group B tournaments respectively and gained promotion to the Championship Division for the 2008 IIHF World U18 Championships. While France finished last in Group A and Great Britain last in Group B and were both relegated to Division II for 2008.

The 2018 IIHF World Championship was an international ice hockey tournament hosted by the Danish cities of Copenhagen and Herning, held from 4 to 20 May 2018. The IIHF announced the winning bid on 23 May 2014 in Minsk, Belarus. South Korea made its debut at the World Championship, having played in the lower divisions previously.

This decision regarding Sweden was made at the 2018 semi-annual International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) congress in Malta, and was officially announced on 24 May 2019, at the IIHF's annual congress during the World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia. At the same time, it was announced that Denmark will co-host the championship.
