Hamza Yerlikaya is a Turkish Graeco-Roman style wrestler. He is a two-time Olympic champion, three-time World Champion, and the first Turkish wrestler to become European champion a record eight times, a feat that has since been matched by Rıza Kayaalp. He was ranked third in a list of all-time-best wrestlers by the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA).

August "Ago" Neo was an Estonian wrestler who won two medals at the 1936 Summer Olympics: a silver medal in the freestyle wrestling and a bronze in Greco-Roman wrestling. His achievements were underscored by teammate Kristjan Palusalu, who won two gold medals in wrestling at the same games. Neo also won five medals in both wrestling styles at the European championships in 1934–1939.
Nils Emanuel Karlsson, better known as Mora-Nisse, was a Swedish cross-country skier. Karlsson won gold in the 50 km event at the 1948 Winter Olympics and nine Vasaloppet victories.

He also won seven national titles and three medals at the European Championships of 1933–1937, all in Greco-Roman events.
Eva Karlsson is a Swedish sprint canoer who competed in the 1980s. She won a silver medal in the K-4 500 m event at the 1984 Summer Olympics, together with teammates Susanne Wiberg-Gunnarsson, Anna Olsson and Agneta Andersson.
Thomas Ohlsson is a Swedish sprint canoer who competed from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a silver medal in the K-4 1000 m event at Los Angeles in 1984. Ohlsson's wife, Eva Karlsson, won a silver medal in the K-4 500 m event at those same games.
Stelios Mygiakis is a Greek Greco-Roman wrestler. He won and Olympic gold medal and is the first Greek to become an Olympic Champion in wrestling. Mygiakis also won a gold medal at both the European Wrestling Championships and Mediterranean Games. He was named the 1980 Greek Male Athlete of the Year. In 1971 Stylianos becomes Greek champion, was used in the featherweight and in the same year for the first time at an international championship, the World Cup in Sofia for the first time. There had Stylianos, who was only 19 years old, still belonging pay dearly, for he lost both fights, he had to deny prematurely. In the 1972 European Championship in Katowice but Sylianos already achieved three wins and reached a good 6th place. At the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972 Stylianos go again three wins, including one over the Soviet Favorites Jemal Megrelischwili which he came on the 7th Place.

Bilyal Valerievich Makhov is a Russian mixed martial artist, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestler. Olympic gold medalist 2012. He is signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship, currently competing in the Heavyweight division. He was the Russian champion in 2007 and 2010, European champion in 2010 and World champion in 2007, 2009 and 2010 in Men's Freestyle 120 kg wrestling and bronze medalist in 130 kg Greco-Roman Wrestling at the World Championships in 2014 and 2015. Michel Peter Lafis is a Swedish former cyclist. He won the bronze medal in the Men's 100 kilometres team time trial along with Jan Karlsson, Anders Jarl and Björn Johansson at the 1988 Summer Olympics. He also rode at the 1992, 1996 and the 2000 Summer Olympics.
Anton Carl Diderik Dahlberg is a Swedish sailor, who specializes in the 470 class, a two-person dinghy. He has represented Sweden, along with his partner Sebastian Östling, in two editions of the Olympic Games, and with Fredrik Bergström in 2016 and 2020, winning an Olympic silver in 2020. He has been representing the Royal Swedish Yacht Club throughout most of his career.

Mabel Fonseca Ramírez is a retired amateur Puerto Rican freestyle wrestler, who competed in the women's lightweight category. She produced a remarkable tally of four career medals; three of them were bronze from the Pan American Games and World Championships and a silver in the 59-kg division from the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games. Fonseca also had an opportunity to represent Puerto Rico at the 2004 Summer Olympics, but her participation had been marred by a disqualification for failing the doping test. Throughout her sporting career, Fonseca trained as a member of the women's wrestling team for Esporto San Juan under her personal coach Reinaldo Jimenez.
