Jan Kopp (born 13 July 1971) in Pforzheim, is a German composer of contemporary music. He also works as an essayist and teacher.
At age twelve, he wrote his first compositions. From 1987 to 1991 he studied composition with Wolfgang Rihm at the "Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe". From 1992 to 2000 he studied German philology and musicology at the University of Heidelberg, finishing this studies in 2000 as a Master of Arts. From 1998 he continued his studies in composition with Helmut Lachenmann and Marco Stroppa at the Stuttgart Musikhochschule and took his diploma as a composer in 2002. Since then he has been working as a freelance composer and writer. In his work both as a composer and a writer, Kopp focuses on the relationships between music and speech. Therefore many of his works include the human voice. In his instrumental music he explores the relationships between performing music and the compositional structures and decisions made by the composer. Kopp worked with ensembles like Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart, Ensemble Modern, Ensemble Phorminx, Schola Heidelberg, Ensemble Mosaik, Suono Mobile and soloists like Petra Hoffmann, Daniel Gloger and Hans-Jörg Mammel. His works have been performed and broadcast in Germany, Switzerland, Argentina, Uruguay and South Korea.
In addition to composing and writing about new music, he is committed to familiarising people with works of art. For that purpose Kopp is engaged in several school projects.

Jorge León Schidlowsky Gaete was a Chilean-Israeli composer and painter. He wrote music for orchestra, chamber ensemble, choir, and instruments including the piano, violin, cello, flute, mandolin, guitar, harp, organ. About 65 pieces were written in graphic notation. His compositions have been performed in numerous countries, with orchestra conductors including Aldo Ceccato, Clytus Gottwald, Erhard Karkoschka, Herbert Kegel, Lukas Foss, Zubin Mehta and Hermann Scherchen. The scores of his graphic music have been shown in exhibitions such as Staatsgalerie Stuttgart and the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum in Ludwigshafen. Schidlowsky worked as a professor of composition both in Chile and Israel, influencing many students.
Frank Corcoran is an Irish composer. His output includes chamber, symphonic, choral and electro-acoustic music, through which he often explores Irish mythology and history.
Yannis Kyriakides is a composer of contemporary classical music, and sound art. His music explores new forms and hybrids of media, synthesizing disparate sound sources and highlighting the sensorial space of music. He has focused in the majority of his work on ways of combining traditional performance practices with digital media, particularly in the use of live electronics. The relation between music and language has been explored in many pieces that utilize text films as a multimedia element.

Johannes Kalitzke is a German composer and conductor. After studying in Cologne and at the IRCAM in Paris, he was chief conductor at the Musiktheater im Revier in Gelsenkirchen for several years, then led the ensemble musikFabrik and composed operas on commissions in Germany and Austria. He has been Professor of Conducting at the Salzburg Mozarteum from 2015.
