The Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts, commonly called the Royal Academy, is located in Stockholm, Sweden. An independent organization that promotes the development of painting, sculpture, architecture, and other fine arts, it is one of several Swedish Royal Academies. The Royal Institute of Art, an art school that was once an integral part of the academy, was broken out in 1978 as an independent entity directly under the supervision of the Ministry of Education.

He was awarded the First Award for Person of the Year in Art of P.R.C. in 2014 by the People's Republic of China. He was granted the title of "Artists with High Moral Virtue and Artistic Achievements of China" in 2015 and "Goodwill Ambassador for China Voices" by the State Council Information Office, P.R.C. in 2016.
Poul Lange, also known as Poul Hans Lange, is a Danish illustrator, graphic designer, photographer, fine artist and children's book creator, who has won numerous awards for his design work. Since the early 1990s, he has lived and worked in the United States, first in New York City, and then after 2012 in Los Angeles. In 2011 Lange founded "Chocolate Factory Publishing" with his wife Kayoko Suzuki-Lange. In 2013, Chocolate Factory Publishing released the award-winning children's book app, The Book of Holes.
Olivo Vilhelm Eduard Oscar Krause was a Danish oboist and composer who had studied under Edmund Neupert and Agnes Adler. A member of the Royal Danish Orchestra from 1882, he became first soloist in 1893 when he also played as a soloist at the Bayreuth Festival. In 1915, he founded and played in the Olivo Krause Ensemble. Among his compositions are the opera Popoff (1912), Sonata for Violin and Piano as well as songs and piano pieces. It was for Olivo Krause that Carl Nielsen wrote the two works for oboe and piano known as Fantasy Pieces for Oboe and Piano (1890).
Knud Arne Petersen was a Danish architect and director of Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen from 1899 to 1940. Apart from his engagement with Tivoli Gardens, where he created several prominent buildings, including the Chinese Tower and the Nimb complex, he was most active as an exhibition architect, representing Denmark at several World Fairs.
