The 16th Street Baptist Church bombing was a white supremacist terrorist bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, on Sunday, September 15, 1963. Four members of a local Ku Klux Klan chapter planted 19 sticks of dynamite attached to a timing device beneath the steps located on the east side of the church.

The total budget is ₦1,920,660,623.11. The university is the major higher institution of learning in the north-eastern part of the country.

1980 Paris synagogue bombing

On 3 October 1980, the rue Copernic synagogue in Paris, France was bombed in a terrorist attack. The attack killed four and wounded 46 people. The bombing took place in the evening near the beginning of Shabbat, during the Jewish holiday of Sim'hat Torah. It was the first deadly attack against Jewish people in France since the end of the Second World War. The Federation of National and European Action (FANE) claimed responsibility, but the police investigation later concluded that Palestinian nationalists were likely responsible.

February 2010 Lower Dir bombing

The February 2010 Lower Dir bombing was a suicide bombing in the Lower Dir District area of Pakistan on 3 February 2010. At least 8 people, including three American soldiers, died. Three schoolgirls were among the dead. Another 70 people, including 63 schoolgirls, were among the injured.

2002 Herzliya shawarma restaurant bombing

The 2002 Herzliya shawarma restaurant bombing took place on June 11, 2002 when a Palestinian suicide bomber set off a bomb at the Jamil restaurant in the Israeli beach suburb of Herzliya. The event resulted in the death of one teenager, Hadar Hershkowitz, and the injury of 15 people. The attack led Israel to lodge a formal complaint with the UN security council, citing it as evidence for a "campaign of Palestinian terrorism" against Israeli civilians.

The August 2011 Quetta bombing refers to a suicide car bomb attack in Quetta mosque that left 11 Shia Muslims dead and 20 more injured on August 30, 2011. The victims were leaving their place of worship after Eid prayers when the bomb went off at the parking lot. Ahsan Mahboob, a Pakistani Capital City Police Officer, said that the bomb had 40 kilograms (88 lb) of explosives. Besides dead and injured, which were transported to the Civil Hospital and Bolan Medical College, the bomb also destroyed 10 cars along with a few houses. No one claimed responsibility for the attack. After the blast there was police cordoning and mourning. The mourning was announced by Quetta Azadari Council which lasted for the whole week. It was then followed by condemnation of attack from both JAP President Allama Abbas Kumaili and Hazara Democratic Party.

2014 Mubi bombing

On the evening of 1 June 2014, an improvised explosive device was set off at a football field in Mubi, Adamawa State, Nigeria. At least 40 people were killed in the attack, according to eyewitnesses. Nineteen others were injured. The perpetrators of the attack were not clear, although media reports generally blamed Boko Haram.

In February 2015, suicide bombings occurred in the northern Nigerian cities Damaturu, Potiskum and Kano.

On 20 October 2017, suicide bombers attacked mosques in Kabul and Ghor Province, Afghanistan, killing at least 60 people.

2021 Kabul school bombing Bombing in Kabul, Afghanistan

On 8 May 2021, a car bombing, followed by two more improvised explosive device (IED) blasts, occurred in front of Sayed al-Shuhada school in Dashte Barchi, a predominantly Shia Hazara area in western Kabul, Afghanistan, leaving at least 90 people dead and 240 injured. The majority of the casualties were girls between 11 and 15 years old. The attack took place in a neighborhood that has frequently been attacked by militants belonging to the regional Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant – Khorasan Province (ISIL-K) over the years.

2021 Damascus bus bombing IED attack on a Syrian Army bus in the Syrian capital

On 20 October 2021, two improvised explosive devices attached to a Syrian Army bus exploded as the vehicle passed under Jisr al-Rais Bridge in Damascus, Syria, during morning rush hour, killing 14 people. A third device was defused by an army engineering unit.
