Janusz Brzozowski (born 29 June 1951) is a former Polish handball player who competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics and in the 1980 Summer Olympics.
In 1976 he won the bronze medal with the Polish team. Four years later he was part of the Polish team which finished seventh.
Jerzy Paweł Gorgoń is a Polish former football player who is remembered for his participation in the 1972 Summer Olympics. He was a 6'4" tall central defender, who became well known in 1967 while playing for Górnik Zabrze. He helped Zabrze to five consecutive Polish Cups in 1968–72. Gorgoń participated in the 1974 World Cup in, then, West Germany, winning third place with the Poland National Team and being his squad's defensive pillar.
Lesław Ćmikiewicz is a retired Polish football player and manager. He played for Polish clubs including Śląsk Wrocław and Legia Warsaw. He also played for the New York Arrows and Chicago Horizon in the Major Indoor Soccer League.
Kazimierz Kmiecik is a Polish former international football player who played most of his career for Wisła Kraków, where he played 304 league matches and scored 153 goals. This makes him the best goalscorer in history of the club. He also played for AEL and won the first Greek cup for the history of the team, in 1985. He is today a legend in Larissa and remains a fan favourite.

Jan Jankiewicz is a retired Polish cyclist. In 1979 he won two silver medals in the road race at the World Cycling Championships, individually and with the Polish team. He competed at the 1976 and 1980 Summer Olympics in four events in total. In 1976, he finished in tenth and fifth place in the 4000 m pursuit, individually and with the Polish team, respectively. In 1980, he was fourth in the road race, but failed to reach the finish in the 100 km time trial.
