Jashon Karlfred Sykes (born September 25, 1979) is a former American football linebacker. He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes, [1] and was subsequently signed by the Denver Broncos. [2] He started 11 games during his career with the Broncos.
After his playing career, Sykes became a recruiting and operations assistant with Colorado football in 2006. In 2007 and 2008, Sykes was on-campus recruiting director for Colorado and training camp assistant coach with the Broncos. [3] [4] From 2009 to 2010, Sykes was the assistant operations director and coordinator of football relations at Colorado. [4] From 2011 to 2012, Sykes was director of football operations at Colorado. [4] Beginning in 2013, Sykes was director of football operations at San Diego State. [3]
John Albert Elway Jr. is an American former professional football quarterback who spent his entire 16-year career with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He was recently named the head coach of the Bellarmine Bells, the 7th football coach in the school's history.
Matthew Jason Russell is an American football executive who currently serves as a senior personnel executive for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He formerly served as the Director of Player Personnel for the Denver Broncos of the NFL. Russell also was a former professional football player who was a linebacker in the NFL for a single season. He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes, earned consensus All-American honors and won the Butkus Award as the top linebacker in America. He played professionally for the NFL's Detroit Lions from 1997 to 1999.
Vance Desmond Joseph is an American football coach and former player who is the defensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes as a quarterback and running back in the 1990s, and was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 1995, playing cornerback for them and then the Indianapolis Colts in 1996. After spending 12 years as a defensive coach in the NFL with San Francisco (2005–10), Houston (2011–13), Cincinnati (2014–15) and Miami (2016), Joseph was hired as head coach by the Denver Broncos in 2017, serving until he was fired after the 2018 season. After his first tenure with the Broncos, Joseph served as defensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals from 2019 to 2022, before being hired by the Broncos as defensive coordinator in 2023.
