Jason Q. Bohm is a retired United States Marine Corps major general who last served as the Inspector General of the Marine Corps from 2022 to 2024. He served as the Commanding General of the Marine Corps Recruiting Command from 2020 to 2022. Previously, he served as the Chief of Staff of the Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO from 2018 to 2020. [1] [2] [3]
He is the author of the book From the Cold War to ISIL: One Marine’s Journey, which was published in 2019. [4] On June 24, 2024 Bohm announced that he was taking over as the dean of the Helms School of Government at Liberty University.

Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island is an 8,095-acre (32.76 km2) military installation located within Port Royal, South Carolina, approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) south of Beaufort, the community that is typically associated with the installation. MCRD Parris Island is used for United States Marine Corps Recruit Training of enlisted United States Marines. Recruits living east of the Mississippi River report there to receive initial training. Recruits living west of the Mississippi River receive training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, but may train at MCRD Parris Island by special request.

The senior enlisted advisor to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (SEAC) is the most senior non-commissioned officer (NCO) position overall in the United States Armed Forces. The SEAC is appointed by the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to serve as a spokesperson to address the issues of enlisted personnel to the highest positions in the Department of Defense. As such, the SEAC is the primary enlisted advisor to the chairman, and serves at the pleasure of the secretary of defense. The SEAC's exact duties vary, depending on the chairman, though the SEAC generally devotes much of their time traveling throughout the Department of Defense, to observe training and communicating to service members and their families. The SEAC's normal term of assignment runs concurrently with the chairman, but an incumbent may be reappointed to serve longer. The first member to hold this post was William Gainey. The current SEAC is Troy E. Black, USMC who assumed the duties on 3 November 2023.

He also served as a naval aviator, flying rotary-winged aircraft such as the CH-46 and UH-1, as well as fixed-wing aircraft such as the T-28 and KC-130.

He has commanded at the squadron and Wing level and also led Marine Corps aviation's weapons school. Thomas is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and National Defense University.
James F. Glynn is a United States Marine Corps lieutenant general who has served as the commander of United States Marine Corps Forces, Pacific since September 12, 2024. He most recently served as the deputy commandant for manpower and reserve affairs of the Marine Corps from 2022 to 2024. He commanded United States Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command from June 2020 to May 2022.
James W. Bierman Jr. is a United States Marine Corps lieutenant general who served as the commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Force and Marine Forces Japan from 2021 to 2024. He most recently served as Commanding General of the 3rd Marine Division from August 12, 2020 to November 8, 2021. Previously, he served as the Commanding General of the Marine Corps Recruiting Command from June 7, 2018 to July 17, 2020.
