Jason Kartalian is an American film producer, director and writer. He was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, his mother was a jewelry craftsperson and his father was the actor Buck Kartalian.
Jason graduated from the film program at California State University Northridge. His first feature Pedestrian, was selected to show at numerous film festivals and won the best picture and best screenplay award at the AFMA Film Festival and the Best Screenplay Award at the Long Island Film Expo. Kartalian wrote, and directed the feature film Seahorses. The film has had a very successful festival run, garnering many awards and was screened in numerous US and international film festivals. [6]
Seahorses won Best of fest at the Socal International Film Festival, [7] Best Micro Budget Film at the Toronto Indie Film Festival, [8] Best Narrative Feature at the Seattle Transmedia and Independent Film Festival, [9] Starlight Film Festival, [10] Board of Directors Award at the Starlite Film Festival and Viewers Choice Award at the Cleveland Indiegathering.
Seahorses has also won Best Screenplay at LA Indie Film festival, [8] BEST ACTOR at Socal Film Festival, [7] Best Actress & Best Actor awards at LA Indie [8] and Cinematography at Socal International Film Festival. [7]

As a part of the film's fundraising on Kickstarter, Molony offered to perform randomly selected stunts for a $5 donation. It was shown at both the Dances With Films and the Austin Film Festivals. Both the film and Molony were awarded by the 2014 Accolade Global Film Competition with Awards of Excellence.
M Cream is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language road film written and directed by Agneya Singh. It follows the exploits of four rebellious friends who set out on a road trip in pursuit of a mythical drug. The film was screened at the Rhode Island International Film Festival where it received the Grand Prize for Best Feature Film. PVR Pictures released M Cream in theatres across India on July 22, 2016. The worldwide distribution rights were subsequently acquired by Netflix.
