Javid Iqbal Aslam (born 26 January 1963) is a Norwegian boxer of Pakistani origin. He was born in Faisalabad in Punjab, Pakistan. He competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. [1]

Faisalabad, formerly known as Lyallpur, is the third-most-populous city in Pakistan, and the second-largest in the eastern province of Punjab. Shahid Ali Khan is a retired field hockey goalkeeper from Pakistan, who won the gold medal with the Men's National Team at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California and later became the Pakistan's goal keeping coach. Eight years later he earned the bronze medal in Barcelona, Spain. At the age of 18, in 1982, he saved a penalty stroke to save Pakistan in the Final of World Cup. He was considered a top goalkeepers in field hockey, and was capped 135 times.

The men's light welterweight event was part of the boxing programme at the 1984 Summer Olympics. The weight class allowed boxers of up to 63.5 kilograms to compete. The competition was held from 29 July to 11 August 1984. 37 boxers from 37 nations competed.
