Jay Gray is an American TV journalist working at NBC News as a Senior National Correspondent. He reports on all NBC platforms and particularly can be heard providing reports on NBC local stations and affiliates as well as reporting on-air on the big stories and is notable for covering NBC News' Winter and Summer Olympics. After graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas, He first joined NBC in 1993, starting at KXAS, an NBC owned-and-operated station based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, before moving up to the big leagues at NBC News in 2000. [1]

In December 2011, he was at a party watching a football game and was pulled over for DUI. [3] [4]

He's known for NBC's coverage of the Winter and Summer Olympic Games. [5]
