Jayaram Kailas is an Indian film director. [1] [2] [3] He is Indian National Film Awards South I Panel Jury member appointed by Directorate of Film Festivals for the 66th National Film Awards [4] and received 39th Kerala Film Critics Association special jury award for his movie Akkaldhamayile Pennu. Peruvannapurathe Visheshangal is a 1989 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy film directed by Kamal and written by Ranjith from a story by Kamal, it was produced by Castle Productions. The film stars Jayaram as Sivasankaran, who arrives in Peruvannapuram village to join as the new peon in a college, and Parvathy as Kunjulakshmi, a student and an arrogant girl from a wealthy aristocratic family who owns the college. Mohanlal has a cameo role as Achutha Kurup. The music was composed by Johnson.

Action Hero Biju is a 2016 Indian Malayalam-language police procedural comedy film directed by Abrid Shine. The film stars Nivin Pauly, Anu Emmanuel, Saiju Kurup, Joju George, Alexander Prasanth, Kalabhavan Prajod, Rony David and Sohan Seenulal. Akkaldhamayile Pennu is a 2015 Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Jayaram Kailas, released on 20 November 2015. The film is based on a story of a woman gravedigger. The film was produced by Jayaram Kailas, Kasim Arikkulam and Ashik Doha under the banner of Pearl Media and Movie Productions.Lal, Swetha Menon, Malavika Nair, Vineeth, and Sudheer Karamana had the leading roles.

Take Off is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language survival thriller film, based on the ordeal of Indian nurses in the city of Tikrit, Iraq, in 2014. The film is the directorial debut of editor Mahesh Narayan, starring Parvathy Thiruvothu, Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil and Divya Prabha. It is written by Mahesh Narayan and P. V. Shajikumar. He scripted the Suresh Gopi starrer Paappan and made his debut as a film maker through the short film Freedom at Midnight starring Anupama Parameswaran which was recognized by Youtube India and won several awards.
