Jeanine Fissler (born 12 October 1980) is a retired German rhythmic gymnast. She was part of the national senior group. [1]
Fissler started as an artistic gymnast as one of her mom's sisters was involved with the sport and began training her, she later switch to rhythmic. Her breakthrough came in 1994/95 with the first individual successes at the North German Championships. [2] In 1996 she entered the national senior group, competing at the 1998 World Championships in Seville along Selma Neuhaus, Susan Benicke, Anna Nölder, Anne Jung and Ellen Jackël, they finished 14th in the All-Around and 8th with 6 balls. [3]
In 1999 she became the group's captain, in May she took 6th place in the All-Around, 5th place with 5 pair of clubs and 4th with 3 ribbons and 2 hoops with the group at the European Championships. [4] At the World Championships in Osaka they were 5th in the All-Around, 5th with 10 clubs and 7th with 3 ribbons and 2 hoops, thus qualifying for the following year's Olympics. [5] [6] At the time she lived in Bochum, with the Ülengin family, along her teammate Annika Seibel. [2]
Jeanine and her teammates Friederike Arlt, Susan Benike, Selma Neuhaus, Jessica Schumacher and Annika Seibel achieved a surprising fourth place at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, this was the best ever rhythmic gymnastics result in German Olympic history. [7] [8]
Fissler later became a graduated sports coach by profession and founded her own gymnastics talent school at Berlin. [9]

Dina Alekseyevna Averina is a Russian former individual rhythmic gymnast. She was the 2020 Olympic All-around silver medalist, the only four-time World All-around Champion, the 2018 silver and 2021 European All-around bronze medalist and the 2016 Grand Prix Final All-around silver medalist. On a national level, she was the 2017, 2018 and 2022 Russian National All-around champion and the 2013 Russian Junior All-around bronze medalist. Her identical twin sister, Arina Averina, is also a competitive rhythmic gymnast.
Arina Alekseyevna Averina is a Russian former individual rhythmic gymnast. She was a 2020 Summer Olympics finalist, a two-time world all-around silver medalist, a two-time European all-around champion and the 2016 Grand Prix Final all-around bronze medalist. She was a three-time (2019–2021) Russian national all-around champion and a three-time Russian national all-around medalist. Her identical twin sister Dina Averina is also a competitive rhythmic gymnast.
Linoy Ashram is a retired Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic All-around Champion, the 2018 World All-around silver medalist, two-time World All-around bronze medalist, the 2020 European All-around champion, and the 2019 European Games All-around silver medalist. She is the third Israeli athlete and first Israeli woman to win an Olympic gold medal in any sport, and the first Israeli rhythmic gymnast to win an Olympic medal. She became the first rhythmic gymnast from outside a post-Soviet republic to win a gold medal at an Olympics where former Soviet states participated.
Katrin Yankova Taseva is a retired Bulgarian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2017 European Silver medalist with Ribbon, 2019 Grand-Prix Final All-around bronze medalist, the 2019 World Cup series All-around and Ball winner and the double World Cup series Ribbon winner. Taseva had won multiple medals at the European Games and is also the 2018 Bulgarian National Champion and a four-time Bulgarian National All-around silver medalist.
Alina Aliaksandraŭna Harnasko is a Belarusian individual rhythmic gymnast and former junior rhythmic gymnastics group gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic all-around bronze medalist, 2021 World Championships all-around silver medalist and ribbon gold medalist, 2020 European all-around silver medalist, and twice Grand Prix final all-around silver medalist.
Daria Atamanov is a retired Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 European all-around Champion, and the 2023 World Championship all-around bronze medalist. She is also the 2022 European Championship silver medalist in hoop, clubs, ribbon, and the team bronze medalist. On a national level, she is the 2022 & 2024 Israeli National all-around champion and a two-time Israeli Junior National all-around champion. Atamanov represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the Women's rhythmic individual all-around and came in fifth in her first Olympics.
Anne Jung is a German rhythmic gymnast. She competed in the women's group all-around event at the 1996 Summer Olympics.
Takhmina Ikromova is an Uzbekistani rhythmic gymnast. She is an Asian Games champion individually and in the team event, and she is also a two-time all-around champion at the Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, in 2022 and 2023. She competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the rhythmic individual all-around.
Carmel Kallemaa is an Estonian-born Canadian rhythmic gymnast. She is a Commonwealth Games champion and a Pan American Championships medalist.
Radina Tomova is a Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. She won a gold medal in the group All-Around at the 2022 World Championships. And she is world champion with the Bulgarian team in the finals with 3 ribbons+2 balls in the world championship 2022 in Sofia.She is the European all-around champion and team champion with the Bulgarian team in 2023, as well as a silver medalist in the 5-hoop final.
