Sunil Dutt was an Indian actor, film producer, director and politician. Dutt was honoured with Padma Shri, in 1968, by the Government of India, for his contribution to Indian cinema.
Shatrughan Prasad Sinha is an Indian actor and politician. He is a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Asansol constituency as a member of All India Trinamool Congress (TMC). Earlier he was elected as Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Patna Sahib. He was also a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha during 1996–2002 and 2002–2008. He was a Union Cabinet Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Shipping in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. He was a member of standing committee on transport, tourism and culture and member of consultative committee in ministry of external affairs and overseas Indian affairs from 2014 to 2019. He was famous for directing several popular Bollywood films like Lootera (1965) starring Dara Singh and Nishi as well as Punjabi films such as Dulla Bhatti (1966). Qayamat is a 1983 Indian Hindi action crime film directed by Raj N. Sippy. It is an Indian version of the 1962 Hollywood film Cape Fear. The film stars Dharmendra as a man who goes to jail and holds his police officer friend responsible for the jailing. On his return after a long sentence he sets about taking revenge, targeting the officer and his family. Jaya Prada appears in flashbacks as Dharmendra's wife. The film was remade in Telugu as Nippulanti Manishi with Nandamuri Balakrishna. The famous song from the film Guide, Aaj Phir Jine ki Tamanna Hai was reused in this film.
Khoon Bhari Maang is a 1988 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan. Based on the Australian mini-series Return to Eden (1983), it stars Rekha as a wealthy widow who is almost killed by her second husband and sets out for revenge. The film was a comeback venture for Rekha, and was a critical and commercial success. It received seven nominations at the 34th Filmfare Awards, including for Best Film and Best Director for Roshan, and won Rekha her second Best Actress award. Khoon Bhari Maang was released on 12 August 1988.

The music is by the Manmohan Desai regulars Laxmikant–Pyarelal.
