Blitz BASIC is the programming language dialect of the first Blitz compilers, devised by New Zealand-based developer Mark Sibly. Being derived from BASIC, Blitz syntax was designed to be easy to pick up for beginners first learning to program. The languages are game-programming oriented but are often found general purpose enough to be used for most types of application. The Blitz language evolved as new products were released, with recent incarnations offering support for more advanced programming techniques such as object-orientation and multithreading. This led to the languages losing their BASIC moniker in later years.
Hummer is a brand of pickups and SUVs that was first marketed in 1992 when AM General began selling a civilian version of the M998 Humvee. Although discontinued in 2010, Hummer returned as a sub-brand of GMC in 2020. In 1998, General Motors (GM) purchased the brand name from AM General and marketed three vehicles: the original Hummer H1, based on the military Humvee, as well as the new H2 and H3 models that were based on smaller, civilian-market GM platforms.
Oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ is the six-syllabled Sanskrit mantra particularly associated with the four-armed Shadakshari form of Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion. It first appeared in the Mahayana Kāraṇḍavyūhasūtra where it is also referred to as the sadaksara and the paramahrdaya, or “innermost heart” of Avalokiteshvara. In this text the mantra is seen as the condensed form of all Buddhist teachings.
Fast chess, also known as speed chess, is a type of chess in which each player is given less time to consider their moves than classical chess time controls allow. Fast chess is subdivided, by decreasing time controls, into rapid chess, blitz chess, and bullet chess. Armageddon chess is a particular variation of fast chess in which different rules apply for each of the two players.
Zeenat Khan, better known as Zeenat Aman, is an Indian actress and former fashion model. The 46 defense is an American football defensive formation, an eight men in the box defense, with six players along the line of scrimmage. There are two players at linebacker depth playing linebacker technique, and then three defensive backs. The 46 defense was originally developed and popularized with the Chicago Bears by their defensive coordinator Buddy Ryan, who later became head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals.
The Hum is a name often given to widespread reports of a persistent and invasive low-frequency humming, rumbling, or droning noise audible to many but not all people. Hums have been reported all over the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. They are sometimes named according to the locality where the problem has been particularly publicized, such as the "Taos Hum" in New Mexico and the "Windsor Hum" in Ontario.

Fulton Kuykendall is a former NFL football player. He is a graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles who played pro football from 1975–1985 for the Atlanta Falcons. The lanky 6-4 225 lb Kuykendall started primarily at inside linebacker for the Falcons from 1975–1983, making the Pro Football Weekly All-NFC Team in 1978.

The World Blitz Chess Championship is a chess tournament held to determine the world champion in chess played under blitz time controls. Since 2012, FIDE has held an annual joint rapid and blitz chess tournament and billed it as the World Rapid & Blitz Chess Championships. The current world blitz champion is the Norwegian Grandmaster Magnus Carlsen. Bibisara Assaubayeva from Kazakhstan is the current women's blitz world champion. Magnus Carlsen has won the event a record six times.

David Scott Blitzer is an American private equity investor and sports team owner. A native of New Jersey, he graduated from the Wharton School and joined the alternative investment firm Blackstone in 1991. He worked out of London from 2001 to 2011 to oversee the company's interests in Europe, and now serves as global head of their Tactical Opportunities group. Blitzer is also the co-managing partner of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE), a sports and property management company founded with Josh Harris in 2017 that owns the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA and the New Jersey Devils of the NHL, among other brands and properties.
Hasan Kamal is an Indian lyricist and songwriter. The recipient of numerous awards, including Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist in 1985 for the title song of the film Aaj Ki Aawaz (1984), he started his career in 1981 with "Sar Se Sarke Teri Chunariy" song from Silsila. His last song as a lyricist is "Aakhein Teri Kitni Haseen" from Anwar.
The 3rd Hum Awards ceremony, presented by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC), sponsored by Servis and Telenor, honored the best in fashion, music and Hum Television Dramas of 2014 and took place on 9 April 2015, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE at 8:30 p.m. UAE Standard Time and was televised on 23 May at 7:30 p.m. PST. During the ceremony, HTNEC presented Hum Awards in 25 categories along with 3 in honorary and 2 in special categories. The ceremony, televised in Pakistan by Hum TV, was produced and directed by Nazeer Saeed Janjua while executive produced by Maimona Siddiqui.

Born. in Mumbai, she gained popularity with her single Vaaste in 2019 which has crossed 1.4 billion views on YouTube, making her the youngest and fastest Indian pop star to hit 1 billion views on YouTube. She started her music career in 2017 by singing acoustic version song Humsafar from Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Her first song in the film was Ishtehaar from the film Welcome To New York, released in 2018. In the same year she starred in the music video "Ishare Tere" with Guru Randhawa and "Dilbar" From Satyameva Jayate which was an instant hit.
Anmol Baloch is a Pakistani television actress and model. She is best known for her roles as Areeba in the Hum TV television series Qurbatein, as Anmol in Hum TV's Aik Larki Aam Si and as Sajeeda in the Pakistani-Malaysian co-produced television series Sara Sajeeda on TV3.
Chennai Blitz is a men's volleyball team from Chennai, Tamil Nadu playing in the Prime Volleyball League in India. The team was founded in 2021 and owned by SPP Group.
