Latin honors are a system of Latin phrases used in some colleges and universities to indicate the level of distinction with which an academic degree has been earned. The system is primarily used in the United States. It is also used in some Southeastern Asian countries with European colonial history, such as Indonesia and the Philippines, although sometimes translations of these phrases are used instead of the Latin originals. The honors distinction should not be confused with the honors degrees offered in some countries, or with honorary degrees.

William Thaddeus Coleman Jr. was an American attorney and judge. Coleman was the fourth United States Secretary of Transportation, from March 7, 1975, to January 20, 1977, and the second African American to serve in the United States Cabinet. As an attorney, Coleman played a major role in significant civil rights cases. At the time of his death, Coleman was the oldest living former Cabinet member.

Russ Granik is an American sports executive who served as Deputy Commissioner of the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 22 years. He retired from that position on July 1, 2006, after 30 years with the NBA. Granik was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on September 8, 2013, alongside basketball legends including Gary Payton, Bernard King, Rick Pitino, and Jerry Tarkanian. He was enshrined into the Hall of Fame by Jerry Colangelo. During his professional career, Granik served as the announcer of second-round picks in the NBA Draft and in later years, the television host of the NBA Draft Lottery.
M. Lee Pelton is the President and CEO of the Boston Foundation, the community foundation serving the Greater Boston area since 1915. A native of Wichita, Kansas, Pelton studied English literature at Wichita State University and Harvard University. He then held various deanship positions at Colgate University and Dartmouth College before becoming president of Willamette University (1998-2011) and Emerson College (2011-2021). On June 1, 2021, Pelton took the helm at the Boston Foundation.
Charles Edgar Haldeman, Jr. was the chief executive officer of the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, known as Freddie Mac, a publicly traded company that is the second largest source of mortgage financing in the United States. On October 26, 2011, it was announced that Haldeman would retire, but he agreed to stay until a successor was found. Haldeman left Freddie Mac in May 2012. He is the former President, CEO, and chairman of the board of directors, of Putnam Investments, a mutual fund company based in Boston, Massachusetts. He served on the Board of Trustees of Dartmouth College from 2004 to 2012.

He was a partner and senior advisor at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and a partner at McKinsey & Company where he led its operations in Saudi Arabia, and a Senior Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars where he wrote the playbook on public-private partnerships.
Kannon Kumar Shanmugam is an American lawyer known for his litigation at the U.S. Supreme Court. He has been a partner at the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison since 2019, and is the managing partner of the firm's Washington office and chair of its Supreme Court and appellate practice group. Shanmugam has been mentioned as a possible Solicitor General or judicial nominee in a Republican administration.

David F. M. Brown is an American physician, emergency medicine specialist, teacher, researcher, and administrator. He is the MGH Trustees Endowed Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School and served as Chief of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. from 2013-2021 when he became President of Massachusetts General Hospital.
