Jeffrey Owen Holly (born March 1,1953) is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played parts of three seasons in the Major League Baseball from 1977 until 1979,all for the Minnesota Twins. After the 1979 season he was traded to the Detroit Tigers for Fernando Arroyo. [1]

He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates between 2000 and 2002,the Boston Red Sox from 2003 to 2005,the Cincinnati Reds from 2006 to 2013,the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2014,and the Reds again in 2017. He won the 2004 World Series with Boston.
John Rikard Dempsey is an American former professional baseball player. He played for 24 seasons as a catcher in Major League Baseball from 1969 to 1992,most prominently for the Baltimore Orioles where he played for 10 years and was a member of the 1983 World Series winning team.
