James Jeffrey Sparks (born April 4,1972) is a former pitcher for the Major League Baseball Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Sparks never won an MLB game but did pick up one save. It came on September 27,1999 against the New York Yankees. Sparks went 1 1/3rd innings to save a 10-6 Devil Rays victory. [1]
As of May 2007,Sparks was selling home-and-garden products at Lowe's and attending firefighter school while training with former major league pitcher Mike Marshall.
Constantino "Tino" Martinez is an American former professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners,New York Yankees,St. Louis Cardinals,and Tampa Bay Devil Rays from 1990 through 2005. He also served as a hitting coach for the Miami Marlins in 2013. His nickname is The Bam-tino,which came from a home run in game 1 of the 1998 World Series. Formerly a third baseman and first baseman,Martinez was the first round draft pick for the Seattle Mariners in 1988 out of the University of Tampa where he starred during his time on campus. He began his Major League career in 1990 and played for the Mariners,New York Yankees,St. Louis Cardinals,and Tampa Bay Devil Rays,before rejoining the Yankees in the 2005 season. During his 16-year MLB career,he scored 1,009 runs,drove in 1,271 runs,and hit 339 home runs. He had 100 or more RBI in six different seasons and was twice named to the All-Star team.
The Michigan Battle Cats of the Midwest League became the Battle Creek Yankees for the 2003 season. In 2005,their affiliation with the New York Yankees ended. They became an affiliate of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays known as the Southwest Michigan Devil Rays. The team played their home games in C.O. Brown Stadium in Battle Creek,Michigan.

Cash was the American League Manager of the Year in 2020 and 2021,the first AL manager to win the award consecutively.
