Jehan Mamlouk (born 10 January 1993) is a Syrian basketball player who plays in Tishreen SC since 2021 and in the Syria women's national basketball team. [1] She studied at the Syrian Private University. [2]

Her sports career began with Al-Thawra in the year 2005.

Al-Wahda (2010–2021)

In 2010, she participated in FIBA Asia Under-18 Cup for Women held in Thailand. [3] Just after the Asian U18 Cup she was injured by the cruciate ligament.

In the seasons 2011–2016, she won the champions double with Al-Wahda 6 times and defended the title in both competitions. [4]

She achieved with Al Wahda Club the runner-up title in the West Asian Women's Basketball Championship for the 2015 season.

Her last big club success so far was born in the 2019 season, when she reached the SWBL final, in which her club was defeated by her parent team Thawra. [5]

Tishreen SC (2021–present)

At the beginning of the 2022 season, she transferred to the Tishreen SC Latakia. [1]

Syria women's national basketball team

Her biggest achievements in the national team are qualifying for the West Asian Championship finals and participating in the 2021 FIBA Women's Asia Cup Division B. [6] [7]

In 2017, she graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts.

Al-Wahda Sports Club is a Syrian multi-sports club based in Damascus. The club is mostly known for its football and basketball teams. The football team plays in Syria's top competition, the Syrian Premier League. Al-Wahda SC was founded in 1928 and its colours are orange and white. They play their home games at the Al-Jalaa Stadium. The club is nicknamed "The Damascene orange".

Micheal Madanly, better known as Michel Madanly or just Micho, is a Syrian professional basketball player. Most known in his prime playing for Jalaa SC's basketball programme from 2004 to 2011, he also played in a number of Syrian and international basketball clubs in China, Philippines, Lebanon and the Netherlands and a regular feature for many years in the Syrian national basketball team. Madanly is perhaps best known as the leading scorer in the 2007 FIBA Asia Championship, averaging 33.1 points per game.

The 2021–22 SBL season is the 64th season of the premier Syrian Basketball League and the 2nd season under the current play-off format. In the regular season, teams play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format. The matchdays were from 9 December 2021 to 6 May 2022.

The 2022–23 Syrian Premier League season is the 51st since its establishment in 1966. This season's league featured one stage. It pitted one group of 12 teams and kicked off on 9 September 2022. Tishreen are the defending champions, having won the previous season championship. The league is operated by the SFA.
