Jekaterina Rojaka (born 29 June 1978) is a Lithuanian economist and politician serving as a member of the Seimas since 2024. [1] From 2019 to 2020,she served as a deputy minister of economy and innovation. [2]
Politics of Lithuania takes place in a framework of a unitary semi-presidential representative democratic republic,whereby the president of Lithuania is the head of state and the prime minister of Lithuania is the head of government,and of a multi-party system.
The president of the Republic of Lithuania is the head of state of the Republic of Lithuania. The national flag of Lithuania consists of a horizontal tricolour of yellow,green,and red. It was adopted on 25 April 1918 during Lithuania's first period of independence (1918–1940),which ceased with the occupation first by the Soviet Union,and then by Nazi Germany (1941–1944). During the post-World War II Soviet occupation,from 1945 until 1988,the Flag of the Lithuanian SSR consisted first of a generic red Soviet flag with the name of the republic,in 1953 that was changed to the red flag with white and green bands at the bottom.
The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania,or simply the Seimas,is the unicameral legislative body of the Republic of Lithuania. The Seimas constitutes the legislative branch of government in Lithuania,enacting laws and amendments to the Constitution,passing the budget,confirming the Prime Minister and the Government and controlling their activities.

The Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union is a green-conservative and agrarian political party in Lithuania led by Ramūnas Karbauskis. There have been twelve referendums in Lithuania since it declared independence from the Soviet Union on 11 March 1990. Because of strict requirements,only four referendums have been successful. Older Lithuanian laws required that more than half of all registered voters would vote in support of a proposal for it to become a binding obligation to the government. In 2002,this requirement was lowered to one third of all registered voters.

The Great Seimas of Vilnius was a major assembly held on December 4 and 5,1905 in Vilnius,Lithuania,then part of the Russian Empire,largely inspired by the Russian Revolution of 1905. It was the first modern national congress in Lithuania and dealt primarily not with the social issues that sparked the revolution,but with national concerns. Over 2,000 participants took part in the Seimas. The assembly made the decision to demand wide political autonomy within the Russian Empire and achieve this by peaceful means. It is considered an important step towards the Act of Independence of Lithuania,adopted on February 16,1918,by the Council of Lithuania,as the Seimas laid the groundwork for the establishment of an independent Lithuanian state.
The Government of Lithuania,officially the Government of the Republic of Lithuania,is the cabinet of Lithuania,exercising executive power in the country. Among other responsibilities,it executes laws and resolutions of the parliament,the Seimas,and the decrees of the President,manages state property and,together with the president,executes the foreign policy of the country. The Thirteenth Seimas of Lithuania is a parliament (Seimas) in Lithuania. Elections took place on 11 October 2020,with the run-off on 25 October. The Seimas commenced its work on 13 November 2020 and is serving a four-year term.

Parliament members were elected in 71 single-member constituencies using the two-round system,and the remaining 70 in a single nationwide constituency using proportional representation.
