Jenna Street (born July 3, 1982) is an American former competition swimmer who won a bronze medal in the 200-meter breaststroke event at the 1998 World Aquatics Championships.^[1]^[2]

Swimming is an individual or team sport that requires the use of one's entire body to move through water. The sport takes place in pools or open water. Competitive swimming is one of the most popular Olympic sports, with varied distance events in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, and individual medley. In addition to these individual events, four swimmers can take part in either a freestyle or medley relay. A medley relay consists of four swimmers who will each swim a different stroke. The order for a medley relay is: backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and freestyle. Swimming each stroke requires a set of specific techniques; in competition, there are distinct regulations concerning the acceptable form for each individual stroke. There are also regulations on what types of swimsuits, caps, jewelry and injury tape that are allowed at competitions. Although it is possible for competitive swimmers to incur several injuries from the sport, such as tendinitis in the shoulders or knees, there are also multiple health benefits associated with the sport.

The championships features competition in all five of FINA's disciplines: Swimming, Diving, Water Polo, Synchronised swimming and Open Water Swimming. The main venue for competition was Challenge Stadium, which hosted all disciplines save Open Water.

She was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, but then moved to Jacksonville, Florida.^[3] She attended the Bolles School and the University of Florida.^[1]

The school was founded in 1933 as an all-boys military academy. It dropped its military focus in 1962 and became coeducational in 1971. Its athletics programs have been recognized as some of the best in the Florida High School Athletic Association by Sports Illustrated magazine.

Jenna McCorkell is a British figure skater. She is an eleven-time British national champion and won seven senior international medals, including gold at the Ondrej Nepela Memorial and Ice Challenge. She placed as high as eighth at the European Championships (2008) and 14th at the World Championships, and competed at two Winter Olympics.

Yuliya Andreyevna Yefimova, also romanized Efimova; born 3 April 1992) is a Russian competitive swimmer. Andrea Eife is a German former swimmer who competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics.
