Jenny Laroche is an American actress, dancer, singer, and choreographer who has made appearances on the stage, on television, and in film.
Laroche is best known for playing Sue on the NBC musical drama series Smash [1] [2]
Jenny Laroche was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to a large Haitian family. [3] As a child, she studied piano, gymnastics, and dance, and took part in local dance competitions. [3] She completed her B.F.A. at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2008, an experience she says allowed her to progress as an artist and expand her creativity. [4]
Laroche began her professional career as a center girl with The Rockettes dance company at Radio City Music Hall, [5] where she performed for four seasons. [6] In 2012, she earned a recurring role as Sue on the series Smash, which ran for two seasons. [7] [6]
In 2014, Laroche (mezzo-soprano) sang in the Metropolitan Opera's production of the operetta The Merry Widow [8] She also appeared in a one-night performance of Guys and Dolls at Carnegie Hall. [9] The following year, in 2015, she appeared on stage again in the Broadway musical Paint Your Wagon . [5] A review in Vulture magazine noted the "terrific can-can led by Jenny Laroche, who’s a Rockette, is unusually strong throughout." [5] Laroche was a member of the ensemble in the Rodgers and Sondheim musical Do I Hear a Waltz . [10] More recently, she served as the assistant choreographer in Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" show at the Beacon Theatre in New York. [11]
Sutton Lenore Foster is an American actress. She is known for her work on the Broadway stage, for which she has won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical twice, in 2002 for her role as Millie Dillmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and in 2011 for her performance as Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, a role which she reprised in 2021 for a production in London and for which she received a nomination for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Her other Broadway credits include Grease, Little Women, The Drowsy Chaperone, Young Frankenstein, Shrek the Musical, Violet, The Music Man, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. On television, Foster played the lead role in the short-lived ABC Family comedy-drama Bunheads from 2012 to 2013. From 2015 to 2021, she starred in the TV Land comedy-drama Younger.

Walter Bobbie is an American theatre director, choreographer, and occasional actor and dancer. Bobbie has directed both musicals and plays on Broadway and Off-Broadway, and was the Artistic Director of the New York City Center Encores! concert series. He directed the long-running Broadway revival of the musical Chicago. His most well-known acting role was Nicely-Nicely Johnson in the 1992 Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls.

It is Carey's first headlining tour, visiting six cities in the United States. The second and final season of the American musical drama television series Smash premiered on February 5, 2013, on NBC and consisted of 17 episodes. On March 13, 2013, NBC announced they were moving the remaining season two episodes of Smash to Saturday nights at 9:00PM EST starting April 6 in order to play the full 17-episode order. The two-hour series finale aired on May 26, 2013, moving the show to a special Sunday slot.
