Jerrel Pete Jesse Britto (born 4 July 1992), known as Jerrel Britto, is a Trinidadian professional footballer who most recently played for Honduras Progreso of Liga Nacional de Honduras and the Trinidad and Tobago national team.
Britto was born in Port of Spain. On 16 February 2017, he signed for Honduras Progreso. [1] In his first season with the club he scored six times, including a goal in the Clausura semifinals against Olimpia. [2]
On 29 April 2017, Britto made his senior debut for the Trinidad and Tobago national team, starting and playing 64 minutes in a 2–2 draw against Grenada. [3]

The 2009 CONCACAF U-20 Championship qualifying tournament determined the Caribbean and Central American Under-20 association football national teams that would participate in the 2009 CONCACAF U-20 Championship, which itself will qualify national teams to the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup. The final round of qualification was a one-game playoff on 2 March 2009, between the runner-up from the Caribbean zone, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and the 3rd-place finisher from the Central American zone, Honduras. The three North American zone nations, Canada, Mexico, and the United States, as well as tournament hosts Trinidad and Tobago, were automatically entered into the final tournament without need for qualification.

The 2019–20 Honduran Liga Nacional season was the 54th Honduran Liga Nacional edition since its establishment in 1965. The tournament started in July 2019 and ended in March 2020. The season was divided into two halves, each crowning one champion. A new format will be used starting this season, each club plays the others twice, once at their home stadium and once at that of their opponents', for 18 games. The first five teams will advance to the post-season (Pentagonal), where they will play each other once. If the same team wins both phases, they will be crowned champions automatically; otherwise, a final series will be scheduled between the winners of both phases. This format was last used in 1992–93. At the end of the season, the three teams with the best record will qualify to the 2020 CONCACAF League.
