Jerry O'Sullivan (born 1951) is an Irish Gaelic games administrator. He has been the Chairman of the Munster Council since 2016.
Born in Cloyne,County Cork,O'Sullivan first played competitive hurling at juvenile and underage levels with Cloyne. He subsequently joined the club's senior team and won county championship medals in both the junior and intermediate grades. [1]
O'Sullivan was still active as a club player when he became involved in the administrative affairs of the Gaelic Athletic Association. He was elected chairman of the Cloyne club in 1976,a position he held for sixteen years. O'Sullivan also served as public relations officer of the East Cork Board before being elected chairman for a five-year term in 1992.[ citation needed ]
As a member of the Cork County Board,O'Sullivan filled the roles of youth officer,coaching officer,vice-chairman and chairman from 2009 until 2011. He was simultaneously elected to the Munster Council before being elected chairman for a three-year term in 2016. [2]
O'Sullivan's sons,Diarmuid and Paudie,have played hurling at all levels with Cork.[ citation needed ]

He played for the Cork senior hurling team for 12 years,during which time he usually lined out as a full-back. A fan favourite who was noted for his swashbuckling style during his inter-county career,O'Sullivan is considered a "Cork legend".

Meelin GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club is based in Meelin,Cork,Ireland and is part of the Rockchapel and Meelin parish. The club is affiliated with the Duhallow division of Cork GAA and has both a hurling and a Gaelic football team. In 2009 Meelin won the Duhallow Junior A Hurling Championship for the first time in 13 years. In 2010,they followed this up with consecutive titles defeating Kilbrin in 2010. This was the start of the club's resurgence that led them to the All-Ireland Junior Final in Croke Park. Meelin won the final with a final score of 0–12 to 1–5 over John Locke's of Kilkenny.

Patrick Aloysius Murphy,known as Weesh Murphy,was an Irish Gaelic football player,selector and administrator. Throughout a club career that spanned over 20 years,he played for several clubs in Cork and Dublin and had championship success in different grades with Bere Island,Lees Football Club and divisional side Beara. At inter-county level,he was full-back on the Cork senior football team that won the 1945 All-Ireland Championship;he had earlier won the first of four Munster Championship medals and ended his career with a National League title. As well as club and county successes,Murphy was a regular for Munster over an eight-year period and won three Railway Cup medals. His inter-county career was followed by several periods as a team selector,while he also became involved in administrative affairs as chairman of the Cork County Board and the Munster Council.

Ronan Sheehan is an Irish former hurler,Gaelic footballer and politician. At club level he played with Mallow and Avondhu and was a member of the Cork senior teams as a dual player. Sheehan was also an elected representative with Cork County Council.
